Lenny, you are the most awesome gun guy who tells it like it is a share the worst and the best in Glock Community, and you're how to are the best showing the how-to I can relate to when someone who hands you a weapon right. I have served 31 years in the us army and seen most of these things and appreciate on seeing someone who cares about others as you do . Contacted your service by phone they were professional and honest bought various items they worked flawlessly. Love seeing your custom work and other items . If I am ever out and California or Nashville will stop in and see you.

Great video, makes me want to buy a custom G34. Also I work in the aerospace industry, I don't know if the NP3 has a different name or what, but I don't think I've heard of NP3 coatings on any parts of an airplane.

Just bought a new g34 gen 5. I want to take it to the Nashville store to be fully customized. If I understood correctly, the shop can mill the sides of the stock slide - that's awesome. The rest is just drop in parts.

Clearing the gun always makes me think of gun newbies. I always teach newbies to cycle the slide three times when clearing the gun. The third time a bullet flies out should clue them they forgot to remove magazine first. ;-) Those cuts look like they really make slide move easy.

I have to say I am extremely disappointed I had my glock 43 sent off to have the NP3 finish done to the slide. The finish looks nothing like the one on the video it's more of a matte look to it and doesn't even look right. And to find out that they don't even do the work at the glockstore they have the slide shipped off to robar.

What size recoil spring
@crockett6166 жыл бұрын
Here's something I've never understood. Everyone says that more reciprocating mass equals more (felt) recoil. But isn't the energy and therefore the recoil going to be the same anyway, if the lighter slide is moving faster?
@thealchemist0136 жыл бұрын
crockett616 , correct, Lenny is wrong. Momentum (recoil) =mass x velocity, lighter slide, faster it goes=same recoil. Adding weight under the barrel axis however, or in-line with the palm, reduces flip (i.e. rifles).
@crypt0cracy7486 жыл бұрын
The lighter the mass the easier for your hands to control the recoil and faster target re-acquisition.

Great voice, great video, great G34 build. In my subjective opinion the slide cuts don't look good; they should be of equal size or increase in size by the same value/increment as the smallest one. The frame needs to be pained/coated. The mag well is just a bit too big. Liked/subscribed.

Just curious: All this aftermarket work for this Glock probably adds up over $2k. With that being said, is it better than let's say a oem CZ shadow 2? Considering they're roughly about the same price?
@GlockGuy10mm2 жыл бұрын
your question is self serving type question, He wasn't comparing this gun to any other. It was showing a video of the custom work done. If you like Glocks then you understand why a person would want this. If your comparing guns and prices then you are price shopping not going after the gun you want. I drive a Ford pick up, GMC and dodge have pick ups also at similar prices but I like my ford. Same with my guns. we invest in what we want and like. have a good day buddy
@rmoore4yris2 жыл бұрын
@@GlockGuy10mm Maybe YOU misunderstood my question. At the time, I was shopping for a CZ Shadow. Have seen plenty of modded Glocks before. But really haven't asked anyone, "is it comparable with the mods to a Shadow2". That was it! Not trying to downplay the Glock. Which I'm a fan of the G17 & G34. Just was figuring out where to spend my money. Currently I have a modded CZp10f and use it competitively and a S&W M&P ez performance for concealed carry. Satisfied with my choices. This question was over 1yr ago. SMH

Once again Lenny is wrong, NP3 by Roburn IS a polytetraflouroethelene (or Teflon)solid finish not "like Teflon", and is NOT self lubricating (meaning the finish would actually be breaking down) . Slight lubrication is beneficial (as oil cooking on a Teflon skillet)

Red dot 300+. Slide you can pick up a zp for around 300 at gun show. Drop in trigger is around 150-200 depending on brand you want. Magwell is about 30-50 depending where you get it and how fast you want it. And a barrel is around 200 I bought my gen 3 34 for around 600 new with case and 2 mags. So for around 1000 you can make your Glock worth about 2grand . But you can find Glock 19s dressed up really pretty like this 34 in the video with all the work done and red dot for around 2100 at any gun show or store altho you might have to ask for a catelog at some shops as some don't carry such things but are willing to order it for you

So how is it a California resident can have a Gen 4? None of the Gen 4 Glocks are approved by the DOJ....
@goofypanda22596 жыл бұрын
There are many ways a California resident can have a Gen 4. One of the ways is being a licensed firearm dealer, which I'm pretty sure he is and famous for.
