Welcome to XC racing. We race XC racing in a SxS. Try getting a 60" machine through the same space at speed. Bent tie rods are a constant struggle LOL. It is super addictive though and a tone of fun. If anyone is around Indiana in the fall then you need to get to Ironman and check it out. It really is neat.

Just gonna throw something up in the air - you can go all day on an 850 Renegade Xxc with the fox shocks and the big meaty tires, but hop on a tuned 450r sport quad from Yamaha or Honda and its a whole different ball game. Renegade/Outlander rides like a Cadillac in comparison!

Truer words have never been spoken. Imagine ripping a full XC event on a two stroke 250R quad. Those dudes from the early 90’s to the early 2000’s must’ve been seriously badass to finish race after race on 250R’s. 6 gears, manual clutch, 60+ HP, and primitive suspension for the early guys. That would definitely separate the men from the boys.

I've asked them to do that a few years ago and they have no sponsorship with Suzuki. That's what I was told.

Actually I believe we said we couldn't get our hands on an up-to-date unit to evaluate as Suzuki all but stopped production of new units. We attended a re-introduction of the KQ two seasons ago but it was just the exact same vehicle they had produced as far back as 2010. We would love it if Suzuki stayed in the game, but the company is not filling us with hope for its ATV division.
