so....first time out. about 20 min to pump and launch, I think with practice it'll be quicker, I was able to launch and land without getting wet! It holds up well and its a nice stable ride. I'm happy!

On the bottom of the boat you can see the seam of the floor, i used clear plastic sheets and a marker to draw a diagram, then transferred to cardboard and trimmed to fit properly before using a jigsaw to cut the ply

Cool boat. You should get a 55 pounder and put it on that boat and go quite a bit faster. I have the 2012 model and with a 55 pound thrust 7 mph max

I doubt this, I have the mariner 4 which is smaller and 55 n it goes 4.5mph max on smooth lake, GPS.

Can you tell me how the PVC worked out under the floor? I'm thinking of doing the same. Seems like the floor will be up too high...??? Thanks, love the mods.

After another trip out today I've come to the conclusion that a pedestal seat is a bit too unstable. I think because these boats aren't very deep compared to the sevylors. I'm going back into the garage to build a couple bench style seats that double as a storage box, then i can mount my swivel and bass boat seats to that. One in the front and back, one will house the battery which will cut back on floor space used. I'll take care of this mod and post another video later this week.

Nah, just remember to measure twice, ok, may 5 times, and cut once....probably took total of 3 hours to complete
