Any chance you make a deep dive video on how you created the pcb in kicad? I am just starting with custom pcb design so would be very helpful :)

I am no expert myself.. I can really recommend the series by Digikey where they go step by step through the process of creating a custom PCB and exporting it for production..

why not use wled for controlling these lights, much better compared to esphome for controlling leds.

What is so fundamentally better about WLED what Esphome cannot offer me? I am heavily using those lights in combination with Home Assistant and do not really miss anything right now.. But I am fully open to this.. Maybe I try to bring WLED to one of my boards and see myself.. :) Anyhow, thanks for the feedback!

Mhh wasn't aware of this until now. Thanks bringing it up. Need to have a look at it. I assume can be integrated with Home Assistant just as easily? That is fundamental to me.
