Thanks for the updates Marshall, keep going with these vids... On my Leveo SL, I do enjoy my 150mm Fox 36 2021, works perfectly fine. 150m x 29er seems to be my sweetspot, coming from a 27.5 170mm Enduro. I have never ridden a bike before, which was so well balanced and suspension worked so good. Yeah, I absolutely love my Levo SL, I ride more and harder and have more flow during the time on the bike.

I've just changed to 160mm lyrik ultimates and x2 factory. Absolute game changer in performance and capability .

Sweet man, I can't wait to get my 21 sl expert. Will probably ride with the dpx2 that comes on it, but I'm thing about x2 and 38 on my normal levo.

So you preserved the 150mm travel length right? I tried using a 160mm fork and I feel a weird vibration on the back of the bike, I am thinking that increasing the fork travel will mess up with the geometry and that is causing the vibrations. have you tried using a longer travel fork on you Levo SL?

Great video and bike. What size are the forks? 150mm or 160mm? Also are they the E-Bike specific ones?

Thanks again for keeping us informed on the upgrades you've made to your bike. I'm having a blast upgrading mine and have found yours to be very interesting. Have you tried mullet yet?

I'm trying to decide between the fox 36 and 38 160mm. Any reason you chose the 36 over the 38 for this bike? My SL Levo is my do it all bike. I ride a lot of double blacks and blacks in Park City and Whistler. Any advice? My guys at the shop said 170mm would work on this bike but the more I read, I think it's better to stick at 160mm.

i was thinking about rear shock - dpx2 vs coil or others, I see you like the float...but was wondering if you recommend going coil or dpx be enough?

Thank you so much for the information about your upgrades. I have changed in my levo sl the rear Shox with X2 (210 x 55) and the fork with 38 2021 (160 from turbo levo 2022 with 44 rake) The impression is Amazing Can you recommends a set up for the fork ?? I don't think that the Roval Traverse on the Levo SL Expert are made of carbon. Are you sure?

Hi Marshall what are your thoughts on running a fox 36 with 170mm travel. Could this increase it’s capability as an enduro bike or is it going too far. What’s your opinion plus and minus? Cheers dave
@MarshallMullen13 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't recommend going up to a 170mm. I think it is a little bit too high for the bike. I haven't tried it, but I don't think it is good
@davidgibbs64383 жыл бұрын
Well that’s good to know, the thing is I purchase a beautiful sl with 170mm but comes with the 150mm air shaft to return back to 150mm.

Tested this last week, a 170 mm Fox 36 but indeed, too high. Sharp handling was gone. Went back to the original 2021 fox 36 with 150 travel. Do like the MRP ramp up cartridge very much in this fork for bigger hits.

Does anyone know or has fitted a Float X2 fit on small levo sl frame while using the range extender?
@barabas_mtb3 жыл бұрын
Great video Marshall. In one image showing the extra battery, it looks like it's almost touching the X2 shock - is there any rubbing or interference of the shock with the extra battery?
@MarshallMullen13 жыл бұрын
It is VERY close, but it doesn't rub. Especially with the new X2 which is smaller, it has plenty of room.

In the video where you compared the 3 levo bikes you said fork was 160 and in this videos you say you left it at 150? So which one is real @Marshall Mullen

this model after these all upgrades looks really great! is there enough space between rear shock and range extender (or bottle) ?

Great input and upgrades! How did you fit the Transfer post? I thought the SL has a 34.9 and Transfers only come in 30.9 and 31.6.

Correct. You can buy little shims that go in the frame and make the smaller post work!

@@MarshallMullen1 Ohk awesome thanks. I think you said you kept it at the 150mm travel as well? also is just going to a grip 2 damper on the 34 almost as good? Also what are the specs of the rear shock?
@MarshallMullen13 жыл бұрын
@@kyedavis5144 I bumped the fork to 160mm travel. I think that works a little better, as it brings the front end of the bike up higher. The 34 is fine with a grip 2, but a 36 is even better. But either one will be good! Rear shock is: 210x55

Can anyone tell me which bushings i need for the change from dps float shock to the float x2? Cause the x2 need to be installed with the „yellow“ integrated bushings and with added old black bushings (from the dps) it is too big to insert it at the bottom shock eye from frame. I currently have installed it without the the second black ring bushing but then the shock isn‘t in levle middle . Iam a bit confused to find out which bushings are needed now. Thanks in advance for your help

Just use the the ones in the dpx shock and move them to the new x2

@@MarshallMullen1 hi Marshall, thanks for the help but I do not realy understand how to use all bushing parts which were included in the dps float. I have once the 20mm black bushing with 6mm hole. Then I have the white cap bushings which are in each shock eye from both sides of them . When I insert the 20mm bushing then I have only 1,65 mm space for the spacer bushing which are 3mm wide. Do I have to insert it without the two spacer bushungs which will be covered over the 20mm bushing?i have only the opportunity to cover over one of them spacerbushing to keep the 20mm wide. Sorry for the convience .
