If I lived near the mountains I would buy a Kenevo. If I was riding aggressive trail riding and wanted the feel of an ebike then it would be the Levo. If I was under 80kg and a very fit rider and wanted a little assistance on the climbs to ride harder and longer. The SL. 🤙

So, being that the Turbo Levo sits smack-dab in the middle of the Kenevo & the SL, IT would be the “one bike” to have???

I really like the quality of content in your vlogs. Your delivery is also quite good being very clear and concise.Oh, then there’s the bike skills...oh so good! Keep ‘em coming! I do have a question regarding power delivery of the Levo vs the SL. When climbing loose, steep, gravely assents, I have heard that sometimes the power can be unpredictable (causing a spin out) with the Levo, and that doesn’t necessarily occur with the SL...no?
@MarshallMullen14 жыл бұрын
John, Thanks for the nice comment! Appreciate it. That is a really good topic about the power delivery. Stay tuned!
@grahamsmith97884 жыл бұрын
great video, but.... you keep saying the SL has "slightly less power than the Levo", when "significantly less power" would surely be more appropriate

Some people broke the coil shock on turbo levo ebikes, because of the frame bike design. I was thinking to swich to an coil shock on the turbo levo, but the review said that I will damage the bike and the shock. I will keep the fox float x2.

Marshall .. very well explained .. maybe price differentials would be helpful too.. and a bit more in-depth components matching .. new to your account so will take some time look back at previous vlogs .. thank .. JC Monterey CA

After watching this video, I’m actually really thinking that the SL might be the right bike for me. Which is funny because I didn’t previously consider it! My only hesitation is that if I’m buying an E bike, I might want one that has more range and more power to get the full benefit of actually owning an E bike. Or do you think the SL actually serves as the perfect bridge between a standard bike and an E bike for people that can only have one bike?

They both have same range, just power difference. I gave the SL Expert and my friend has Levo, our batteries last three same. I like the lighter bike, 50lbs to much for me. SL still feels planted, my non e- bike is a full carbon GT 24lbs... i like the planted feel of the SL better.

I just bought a Levo 2020 comp L (700 battery). The bike is awesome and the normal LEVO have better selling appeal when you decide to sell it. The other 2 will be harder to sell.

Great vid Marshal however I would've loved to know the actual difference in weight between the three bikes and the battery size of each bike. Also I believe you said the Levo SL has slightly less power than the regular Levo but it sounded like it may have had 1/2 the power at least in watts. oh crap I didn't even notice this vid is from 2020 so you need not clarify the answers for me as I am looking at the 2022 versions now.

Is the Fox 38 160mm made for ebikes too? I saw a video where it says that Fox modifies its forks for Ebikes making them more sturdy.. Any special settings because of it? I got the P. Levo Expert Carbon, does changing the fork to a Fox 38 160mm make a lot of difference? Or its very minimal? Thanks for letting us know.

I have the levo comp 2020 and love it, but was thinking of getting the SL comp instead because it is lighter, but if one adds the extender battery range to the SL then the weight becomes 40#lbs I hear. 10#lbs lighter then the levo is nice, but overall the bigger battery/motor is worth the 10#lbs for some.

Hey Marshall, great videos. I was going through the dilemma deciding which bike would suit my needs. I test rode the SL and Levo.I went with the regular Levo and it was certainly the correct choice. I’ve got a good 600km’s on it now doing mostly trail riding averaging 30-50km per ride. I live in Calgary Alberta so I have access to some awesome trails and lots of climbing. I ride my Levo in eco 97% of the time and have seen my VO2 max and overall fitness benefit more as I can control my heart rate and I ride more often. One thing I am noticing is that my Guide RE’s can suffer from fade on longer descents. I know they share calipers with the Code’s but will I find a big difference if I were to upgrade the brakes to Code ?

What do recomend to change to what gears would be the best on Levo ?? If as well change to 12 speed on the kenevo what will be best on that bike . Thx for great videos and help keep it up stay safe cheers Freddy

Hello Marshall from Australia, I own a Levo Expert and just bought my son the Levo SL , both are L size. My question to your is I feel a bit cramped , I'm thinking I should have bought an XL. Thinking of buying the Kenevo in XL? What are your thoughts.
@jonwhite1824 жыл бұрын
I’m 6ft 210. The Large feels tighter. The XL doesn’t feel too big. I feel the sizes run small.

tips to improve: Cameraman movement's sound is huge and not good. Your background scene needs to improve, look at that wall, not good. Seems to me that around you might have a better back image for those beautiful bikes! Thumbs up and keep improving the video quality, the content was great!
