Came out great! I'm tempted to do this myself as well.

Nice job! Looking to build one myself. What was the material list for wood you used to build the frame?

What was the red tape that you sealed the underside with? Would be most helpful for me. Thanks.

Looking to do something similar. What did you use to finish the slab? Debating between epoxy or something like odies oil myself

Rubio Monocoat is the best finish I’ve ever used. It’s a fantastic finish that’s easy to apply. It smells amazing as well. The only downfall is that it is a little pricey but a little goes a long way.

@@7linemedia how well does it hold up against liquids?. Obviously as a bar your bound to get some spills.

Incredibly. I’ve purposefully put glasses full of ice on top of the bar and let them melt out entirely and have never had any rings or any marks whatsoever. It’s impressive.

@@7linemedia awesome! I’ll have to give it a try then. Thanks for the info

Heavy?
@7linemedia2 жыл бұрын
The slab itself with resin was only about 60lbs. The slate tile makes the lower portion quite heavy but it’s still movable. I’m not sure what it weighs all up though.
