Custom Mafex Deadpool and Wolverine

These are my first ever customs and I think they turned out pretty nice. What do you think? Also this videos a bit less edited than my reviews apologies for the ums and ahs.

You clearly learned good techniques working with other mediums and doing a bit of research. Leaving Wolvie's boots and gloves black was a great choice. Visually compliments the look, and practically results in no balljoint paintrub.

I wanted to do this to my mafex deadpool but never made a custom before so I just never did, I liked the design of this deadpool more than the original one, so that’s the main reason why I wanted to.

Wolverine looks like the house of X version. It's a modern brown suit Wolvie. For the black parts btw just wash it with Tamiya Enamel panel line accent brown so it can blend well with your brown parts. Cool custom btw.

I fixed mine! I pulled off both arms, and in doing so I noticed one side of the rib area was coming apart. I used a tooth pick to apply Gorilla Glue. If you look inside where the arms go, in the armpit area, you'll see a ball joint for the butterfly. I applied something similar to the Kiki Joint stiffener in there, and now the butterfly are solid.

wooden toothpicks scrape paint around eyes far better and no worries of damaging what is already there

they look far better then xforce colors but if i was painting deadpool id give his suit a darker black paint over the origal black it looks to be a grey from here

Deadpool is definitely easier to paint than wolverine, just thin your paints and do 2 coats of red all over

There is a little bit purely because I did not seal very well. But I have painted then sealed again and again in a few places to eliminate it. My key is thin costs
