Custom Metal Screen Door Build Part 1

Hello, great looking door. I want to copy it for my own home basically. I understand how the back framing works to sandwich the screen but what was not shown is how the front frame attaches to the one by two tube frame. I'm assuming it gets welded, but with no visible welds showing on the front [nice job] I can only guess it gets tig welded maybe with small welds. I get the tapped blocks fitting between the screen mesh and almost everything else, its just that one little "thing" that I cant figure out. I love the sneaky lock box "box" that's way cool. Matter of reference, I've been a metal fabricator for 50 years and I still have a day job working as a weldor and also have a cool home shop where I fabricate cool projects. Any help would be appreciated as I have purchased most of my material and plan on having a door before winter, go figure.

Thank you so much for the praise, as I can tell you're a fellow professional. To be honest I can't really remember how that front frame was attached, but yes, I'm assuming it's small welds. If I remember anything more I'll let you know. Glad you watched part 2 and saw that lock box. Btw where are you located?

Are those the weld on hinges you used? They look good & strong & easy to install if they are the weld on hinges.

Yes they are welded on. Not sure the exact manufacturer of them. Thanks for the comment.

What is the weld on piece for the door handle and deadbolt called?

I'm sorry I don't know. Though they're pretty standard in metal fabrication.
