That mod is perfect! The essentials head and those body parts looks amazing. This would be my definitive McFarlane Bruce Wayne Batman on my shelf. I have the Detective 1000 version with my Bat family display but this one would be great for my JL display. I've done little kitbashes here and there and would love to try something similar to this. Great job!

You should make a video series on removing these awful stiff plastic capes with flexible textured ones or something! That would be a real project but SO COOL

Wonderful tutorial! I learned a LOT! The removal of the arm pegs was a big help!

I'm questioning your fandom of Batman. Clearly, you don't have enough 😏

I absolutely agree. I’ve actually been thinking of doing a video specifically for all my custom DC stuff but it’s gonna have to be a series because it comprises most of my collection. Admittedly the vast majority of which is Batman.

I love that Essentials headsculpt. To me its a perfect comic Batman
@SargesCustomTutorials3 ай бұрын
@@pmadi323That and the Essentials Knightfall head are definitely my favorites. I wish that line had gotten far enough to give us a Hush Batman so we could have short, medium, and long ears.

This video has been so helpful, I’m about to customize my first figure ever. I’m going for the same thing, just a different belt and head. I do want to customize the cape and get something that is closer to the comics. Would love to see a tutorial on the how to replace the wired cape! 😁

I forgot to mention in the video that the Conan video is coming soon. It has been shot. It’s being edited.

btw have you tried the mcf rebirth batman cape on this setup? seems to be perfect match

The Nightfall legs you modified are too short now.
@SargesCustomTutorialsАй бұрын
@@warpathh they are more realistic anatomically speaking but not necessarily accurate to how he’s drawn. But I do that mod to just about every McFarlane figure I buy to make the fit with my older Mattel and DC Collectibles figures.
@warpathhАй бұрын
@@SargesCustomTutorials you should make your own capes!
@SargesCustomTutorialsАй бұрын
@@warpathh I’ve made cloth capes but never wired. I’ve made a bunch specifically for my DC Essentials customs but I’ve been able to modify those for the most part to fit other figures.

What is your preferred method for hearing up parts of figures
@SargesCustomTutorials3 ай бұрын
I’ve always preferred a heat gun or blow dryer to hot water. It’s just easier for me. I can have a heat gun right at my work station rather than having to hang out in my kitchen.

@@wuyangteioh7374 I actually used a peg from a DC Collectibles figure but I’m not sure which cause I just have a bag of ball pegs at this point.

What do you use to warm the figures? Heat gun? Hair dryer? Hot water?

Thank you for the tips. I turned this figure into the mid 80’s Batman who drove the black-blue Batmobile with the bat face built into the front as a slab of armor. He looked like this back then. I used the black knightfall arms and head, I installed the electrified brass knuckles as well because I remember he had something like that back then as an option.
