Thanks for the video! Is there a way I can type in an abbreviated million number and the cell will recognize it? For example, if I type "1.4 M" so that is can recognize it as 1,400,000 ?

Try to change comma to ' (for Swiss prices for example), and the millions separator dissapears (

How to format a million as 1,000, 1billion as 1,000,000, 1 trillion as 1,000,000,000 i.e. drop 3 zeros. Other values in the spreadsheet are quoted in 1,000's and formulas aren't working as one quotes the actual figure and the other in 1,000's. Thanks

I can't format billions it will show 650000 instead of 650

Hey Ryan, for billions you'll need to use 3 commas. For example you would type in #,##0,,, "B" as your custom number format to make 650,000,000,000 appear as 650 B, for billions. I hope that helps!
