What’s that thing on the bed of the truck. Looks cool. Reminds me of the Chevy Avalanche. Anyone know the name?

I have a big question. I paid for expedited shipping but a got tracking number that’s not a regular FedEx tracking number. I’m worried I got ripped for $180 bucks.
@GearTubeTV3 жыл бұрын
Did you do a Google search on the tracking number? It might look different because it gets shipped by FedEx Freight versus FedEx Ground. Or they could possibly be using a different shipper from their warehouse like DHL or something to transport it to a FedEx Freight facility. I wouldn't worry that you got ripped off just yet. I also know they are usually very responsive to questions for help so maybe reach out and see if they can help you out. 👍

Where did you get those tail lights?
@GearTubeTV3 жыл бұрын
They're the ANZO sequential LED tails. I don't remember what vendor I ordered them from but I have some other videos about them on the channel. By far they are still my favorite of the tail lights available for this truck!

It has Rancho Quick Lift struts in the front and the rear is stock. It's amazing how much a leveling kit changes the looks!
@lightfighter2773 жыл бұрын
@@GearTubeTV Are the rancho quicklift struts comfortable? Do they actually absorb impacts? I'm currently running bilstein height adjustable struts up front at their max (2 inches) setting and their 5100 shocks in the rear and the ride is way to stiff for a daily driver. Thank you!

Looks really good on there! So this is no lift kit on your truck correct? Just a leveling kit? I'm looking for a similar setup for mine...id like to keep it as close to the factory ride quality as possible..but I also want my truck to look aggressive because right now it does not
@GearTubeTV3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay! Yes, my truck is only leveled with Rancho Quick Lift Struts up front. It comes out to between 2-2.5" of leveling and the ride quality is very much like OEM with only a slightly stiffer feel for the first 10,000 miles or so until they broke in a little bit. I went one size up in height of the tire but kept the OEM width only because I didn't want to run into any potential rubbing issues that would require wheel spacers or trimming. Basically my goal was to avoid any type of cutting, which is why I only leveled it versus a lift kit. Plus being in PA I have them dang state inspection guidelines about wheel being inside the fenders of the vehicle but I didn't want to do fender flares because I thought they would look bad too lol. Thanks for the comment!

Hey Chase, I did sell them. I definitely did not get what they are typically going for, but the buyer was super excited to have them despite the PVD peeling.

Are you suppose to open it before the driver leaves I heard that if there is damage but you didn’t let the driver know and sign off on it they won’t cover it.
@GearTubeTV4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you should absolutely open everything before you even sign the bill of laden and before the driver leaves. Technically once you sign for it, it is yours regardless if you open it or not. The one sole reason I did not open it before signing is because I looked it over for any tears or cuts to the wrapping and looked at the surface of the tires for any cuts. Otherwise, the wheels themselves were protected by the foam pads and cardboard. The only true damage that could have occurred would have been the skid/pallet breaking, damage to the bottom tire/wheel, and it was repalletized by FedEx without my knowing, or obvious signs of damage with cuts in the wrapping.

@@GearTubeTV ok awesome, my wheels and tires are going to be here Monday. I will be sure I look over the packaging for any tears or rips I will probably end up opening each to be sure bc I spent $3500 lol. Thank you for your response
