That Caroline model really looks the part and I think the Horrid Lorries and Terrence the Tractor would too but I remember an Ertl Bertie looking ridiculously small on my layout when I was younger.

Honestly, I don’t know why the outer pistons that connect to his rods on the Hornby Percy has always kinda bugged me- It’s so weird seeing a 0-4-0 with outer pistons like that without the railing to hold the pistons rod in place, like on the Bachmann Percy, Peckett, Etc, etc. If I ever get a Hornby Percy, I’d probably try and customize the rods to work as they should, since I really like the black connection rods on the Hornby Thomas/ Percy
