How did you get the crystal solution to stick to the silver paint? Mine just keeps beading on the surface even sanding the paint with 800 grit. I did 1:1 ratio with 3 drops of dish soap.

Your surface either has some kinda contaminant on it or it isn’t enough bite with the 800 try 600

@@corygoodwin1431 I think because I used Rustoleum enamel paint. It creates a slick surface when it dries. Even if I wetsand it with 1000 grit, the water still beads on it.

@@noelfrancisignacio8752 He knows that, that's not what he's asking. Before the guy in the video puts on the clear coat, he touches the tank in a few spots, it looks like that makes the crystals form from where he's touched the tank. Go back and have a look....

Hi Ron, I spotted that too. It looks like it made the crystals form more uniformly, like the centres of the crystal patterns are where he touched it with his finger before clear coating it. I'm going to try this myself... It would be nice if the painter confirmed this... Edit, Ron, I read through the comments and I was right, this was his reply to the same question you asked.. "Yes sir.. you point it were you want to start the crystal effect".... Good luck mate...

Thats urea fertilizer sir you put urea fertilizer into hot water then mix until urea is melted ratio 1/1 urea and water then put small drop of dishwashing liquid and u mix it. Mix sure the paint is dry when you put urea to the surface then wait until the liquid is dry then mistcoat 2x your 2ndcolor ☺️☺️
