CUSTOM painted Nintendo Super Mario Bros 3 theme

I made this custom Super Mario Bros 3 themed NES system for my buddy the Iowa Retro Gamer Dad. I used epoxy sculpt clay and water slide decals plus some Rustoleum paint. I hope you enjoy the build.

That's always the way it goes--gotta print something? Regardless of last time using the printer or to what capacity, it's ALWAYS time for more ink. But, it worked out still for the molding. Agree that the touch of the door sticker really ties into the full unit--without it does feel like it's missing something. This came together so well!!! Those blue and red accents on the yellow, this is bright and pops so much. What an incredible eye-catching console for a game room! Nicely done Russ!

yeah I was happy that I could still use the failed print as a size template for the clay parts.I went real basic with the color scheme and it worked out well

Very very cool. I’ve been inspired. I’m going to custom hand paint a console in the near future. Thing OG Xbox and I don’t expect it to be easy lol Also damn skin tones are very very hard to match. I constantly have this problem when I paint

awesome man, thats great to hear I can help inspire you. Yeah the only other option I could have done was print another waterslide decal of the nose and put that ontop of the clay nose
