nice work, the only thing I could add is, after the flake goes on clear coat it smooth and rub back to lay out your line work, you will get cleaner lines that way.

I agree, you can sand the flake smooth, clear and then start your tape work.

Looks great. Nice, clean work. I happened to see lace work on a tank not too long ago. Can the lace be reused for future projects or is it typically one and done? I am interested in learning all the prepping, layers, and clear coat process.

The first black coat is primer Followed by intercoat clear and flake.
