Any tips on plasti-dipping the underside of the tub? What kind of prep was involved. Just got my grandson one of these and figure I’ll take my time once winter comes and do some mods.

I cleaned it up with isopropyl before spraying. Almost 5 years later it’s still holding up.

Did you ever add another battery to it? We bought the same jeep for our daughter and without a second battery its completely useless.. just wanted to see what u ended up doing

J Barringer so I did add another battery check out the latest video. It is still on the slow end with poor torque, but I have incredibly long run time with two 12v batteries and I'm still running 12v system due to the fact that I want to keep the remote until my daughter is able to steer it herself.

Mohawk Dave Probably a dumb question, but.. how did you wire up the 2nd battery?

Mohawk Dave If you wired them in parallel then (I think) you're still at 12V but higher aH so it'll run longer.. if I'm not mistaken. To get 24V you'll have to wire them in series.. but I've screwed things up that way so who knows
