Nah they are still an issue because of the gap it has. Can confirm this because they broke a 2nd time and they always send 2 pairs not just 1. Heck I even got 3 😂😅

@@itsresho2813 there isn’t a gap anymore they increased the length of the plastic that attaches to the triggers. So it doesn’t take much movement to register its almost instant

It has been 10 months and ExtremeRate/HexGaming has made a new rise remap kit that is worse than the scuf paddles in placement because the controller is so big and the way they placed the 2 extra buttons in the middle of the controller but without the reliability of those scuf paddles that would easily break.

My biggest suggestion for an upgrade on the Dualsense would be ExtremeRate's clicky buttons/dpad kit that's only $17 on Amazon and doesn't require soldering. Perhaps you'll want to do a video on it sometime since it's (relatively) simple for anyone to install? I use the filthy Razer Wolverine Ultimate largely because of the buttons/dpad being clicky the way they are. It makes a major difference for games that require precise button presses. For a comfortable clicky dpad (that can be used in anything including fighting games) and mouse switch buttons to be on the same controller, it's pretty much the only option that comes stock that way.

Incredibly nice review, I recently got a Dualsense as a gift and immediately came here to see options to potentially upgrade it. And while I can absolutely be on the side of this controller is too fucking big, I'm also glad a controller made for gorilla hands 6'10'' me exists, I never had these sorts of comfy grips, but again, not everyone in the planet is this size of unga, and I think Sony could potentially make an "S" version of the controller, just like Xbox did with their Duke. Regardless, expensive stuff, however I might check out the back pads, really need something for Armored Core.

I got to say, the people (like myself) that have four paddles on the back, we are using every single paddle.

Not in most cases. Most people, when they can, will remove 1-3 Paddles for comfort. While using 4 is far more efficient, most people aren't using that configuration unfortunately. But some do. Some people, like me, heavily enjoy 6 button configurations lol

Believe me, i do! Ive gotten many comments from both ends of the spectrum over the years But this is a BASE Controller. Meaning every PlayStation comes with one, and evey custom Pro controller is built on this enormous monster. Base/stock Controllers should be geared towards the average users hand size IMO.

You should definitely do a battle beaver controller review. I have had one for PS4 and the triggers are actually clicky (at least on PS4 I'd assume they'd use the same ones for PS5) and remapping is very easy. Definitely imo the best custom controller company

Thanks man! And unfortunately, I have taken a long look at the c40. It's a very unreliable device if I'm honest, but a very interesting concept. I'd say the eswap X Pro is a better option for a swappable module Controller, but the ultimate will provide a better competitive advantage
