Great restorations Nick I liked the Commer recovery truck smart little model, I remember you doing the TK model first time around and a fantastic job done by you mate have always liked the Bedford TKs my grandad drove a TK Tipper for the forestry commision , so sad what happened to your mates models people can be so horrible at times . I was shouting at the screen for you to unwind the string on the crane, to get the spring in - and then you mentioned it! Edge of the seat stuff, Nick! Or maybe I don't get out enough! Great little model and a nice colour scheme that you could well imagine on a real truck. I have two to do, and am wondering whether I should do them the same, as a fleet, with different numbers and plates to separate them... they're a while away in the Great Order of Things! lol, you didn’t shout loud enough, I didn’t hear you in time😂🤣 I’m glad you approve of the colour, I was in two minds wether to do the front mudguards black or the cab steps black, but as I was sailing close to the wind time wise I thought to my self, don’t push your luck Nick, knowing my luck it would’ve all gone wrong, we wanted to take the models over with us to post in Chester to my mate, less than half the cost of posting from Jersey! I think it’s a good idea to do a fleet, obviously these are for my mate but I want to add to my Crapaud Transport fleet and the Hotton Bedford fleet where I used to work in the early eighties.
