A really nice mixture - look forward to seeing you working your magic on those. Personally I would leave the Crescent Racers as they are - two reasons, they have a nice original charm about them even with the overpainted numbers! Secondly they are quite prone to Fatigue - you might find if you strip them down they dissolve to nothing!

Hey Nick, that's a great collection of models. I love the basic trucks and the plastic friction driven they might be lone star or triang, although a lot came from Japan ,looking forward to the next restoration take care.

That wooden sign with the Shell BP plates and little tanker is a great find, well done for getting that. 👍 You've got a heck of a stash to keep you busy all summer, Nick. I've not bought any models on eBay for ages now, like you I feel by the time you add on postage it's getting too expensive. I got a couple of job lots on eBay and I've bought a few boxes full of diecast toys from a fella in Southport so I've got loads now. Looking forward to seeing the restoration you've got on the go. Cheers Peter, yes that wooden Shell BP sign is really nice and a bit of local history, I need to get on with the donations I have had from yourself and other people before I get stuck into any of this lot, but I do find it quite exciting when I buy at the auction and go to pick the lot up after work and see it for the first time lol! The restoration that I’ve got going is dragging on a bit, only had time to do half an hour here and there, I have to do some stickers and decals which I think are going to be tricky but I will do your decals for the hedge cutter at the same time😊👍 Monica sends her regards to you and Anne-Marie, all the best to you both, Nick🐸🐸

Hi Nick we really liked this weeks lot. Some as you say would be better just cleaned especially the Ferrari to give it the just completed the rally look. We google the landy and we found that a model by Morestone is very close. They are on Ebay in various livery but boy are they pricey. All the best from Ian b & the girls.

I used to have some of the Brumm stuff - it was quite nice, as you say, Nick, but a bit delicate, and the chrome used to peel on them. One of those Stobart Bedfords could be added to your own fleet, methinks! Early Corgi Landrover with the tinplate chassis and tilt... Could the red one be a Budgie or Morestone model? Albion was nice, though I always thought the mixer barrel was a bit undersized, and that was it for the third batch, for me. Eclectic selection for sure, and some interesting lots...

Thank you Fraser, certainly got a bit of a mixed bag this time, I need to do a bit of research on the internet to find out more about some of these models, quite a few in this lot with absolutely no markings or names on them at all, I don’t think the red LandRover is Budgie as they usually have the name stamped on bottom, but I was happy with what I had bought👍😊 All the best, Nick🐸🐸
