Your interiors are works of art, that particular ship looks like the borg assimilated a scrapyard though. I do love the glass habs but they are hard to work into a ship in mass. My best success with that is making a hydrophonics ship which makes sense to have all the greenhouses. Keep up the good work, I get lots of ideas from your interior work. Great inspiration.

On xbox matilija's aerospace large port corner deck doesn't attach to the space structure is there any way is there a mod to attach any thing with any thing

Tried for past 2 days to get DerreTech ship parts to show up at Outpost Ship Builder without any luck.

They probably won't show up unless the author reverses the chances in the last update just 4 days ago where all DerreTech parts became exclusive at his Headquarters in Arcturus III.

Nicely done ✔️ The troublenim uaving is, that recently making certain ships, i cant figure out why some land and situate on thw landing pad correctly and others seem to sit too far foward causing thenfront half of the ship to be too far off the front of the pand even if i place the landing bay toward the front of thw ship. Do you have an idea as to what's causing this?

That hasn't happened to me. Are those ships way over the 40m length? I have noticed that some mod parts from 3rd party have "invisible" extra space. If you happen to have those at the back of the ship, it could be pushing the ship forward.

hi man am halfway through building this ship bit theres some parts ghat wont place, ive downloaded the mods stated via vortex but at the moment the larts i cannot connect is the landing bay and the corner observation habs

When you say you cannot connect the landing bay, what do you mean by that? Not snapping or no doors when you go inside? Btw, I only used Creation Kit mods. Not sure about vortex if the mods are slightly different.

@NEON-Jai vortex use nexus mods and it won't snap to it without the parts above being removed, sorry should of mentioned that part 🤣

The interior is great awesome in fact but the external is way too busy to many structural parts the dome is good i like them but no ship needs 5 fins you can't call the ship starborn their minimalist

That's a starborn ship but with chunky body and external retro and main thrusters.

Yes, it definitely took me longer than Avontech to learn the parts. But it does have potential for some cool design. I'm trying to do another one, hopefully better than this build.

once you start decorating you can never modify your ship again or youll lose 80% of everything you decorated matilija is horrible for that one reason

Yeah, that's my issue with Matilija habs as well. I only use those glass corner ones.

I just built a ship using Matilija's awesome big Cpt quarters, but I haven't decorated. Can you elaborate? I only started playing after 7 months or so, never decorated the interior of a ship. What's the difference between a Matilija hab and a normal one?

@@GtheMVP Some Matilija habs have a bug where the interior decoration is lost whenever you make ANY modification to the ship. The glass corner habs and the dome as an example. The tringle habs seem to only loose some decorations but not all. This does not happen with vanilla habs. Unless you delete the specific hab, then obviously, you loose the decoration. So, only decorate the interior of Matilija habs when you are 100% sure you are done with the ship and won't make any exterior changes.

@@mike-ij9lv TY, you as well Neon. I'll be sure to hold off decorating in their habs. I just put the big dome thing on the back end of my ship, def needs some decor. Hopefully the mod maker releases an update. This was one reason I never bothered with ship decorations last Oct-ish, as any change to a module, even a color adjustment, sent everything to the cargo hold.
