I have a bike I converted that goes 30 and a motorcycle I must say they both are enjoyable in different ways. I like the ebike to go literally anywhere I want but riding down the highway with my buddies on the motorcycle is also fun.

I put microwave dummy loads of .y controller, hub , frame . For sympathetic harmonious frequency. Ie back emf on your frame . But I also wrapped a copper wire around my hub motor to bind a heat sink down . So I may have additional risk

Actually without that secondary coil . I'd just have ferrite rings used as high / low pass filters . 1 ring , 2 wraps per motor lead 20° apart from each other for the high pass , single clipe on ferrite for low pass

I almost got hit on my bike yesterday. Granted we were both wrong, but I tried to gun a yellow light and as I was approaching the intersection, this car comes barreling out of nowhere from the opposite lane trying to gun the same yellow light, but they made a LEFT TURN and came within maybe 2 or 3 feet of me WITHOUT even trying to slow down or anything. Just kept on going. I don't remember if they even signaled (it was all so fast). If my brakes weren't as good as they are (or if my bike went any faster than 30), I would have been right in that car's path. People really don't pay attention and don't care about NOTHING.

The 72v system needs a dc to dc converter. This kit doesn’t have one so I use the stock battery for now.

longshot idea... but why not have both batteries run concurrently? if you joined the system back together wouldn't that fix the issue with the headlights?

Because one battery is 72v and the other is 48v. You would ruin your batteries. What you need is a 72v to 12v dc to dc converter

I just tried looking up your headlight problem, but nothing really turns up. Usually there’s a few people on a random forum somewhere that have the same problem or similar. There’s one person that said their display turns off after five minutes and they don’t know why, but there wasn’t a solution. Good video though, congrats on 10k

@@MrCentralDriver can you provide me a rough estimate of how much it would cost for me to build a similar bike to yours minus the extra stuff such as turn signal and light accessories and tires? I already have a bunch of spare tires and stuff for my grizzly that I can transfer over as needed. I'd say I've spent maybe a total of $5,600 on my ariel rider grizzly (including the cost of the bike). My damn grizzly only goes 30 miles range with all the stupid lights and extra weight I've added:(. I'd like to build a 2nd bike that can go fast like yours and have atleast 50 mile range
