This is my most anticipated video in the series, you guys are building a beast of a RSX! Trevor you got a great thing going on with your guys, you work together very well. I’m glad Garrett came back, he so intuitive. I like how he explains things so simply for even non car enthusiasts to understand. It makes it so much more helpful than just showing parts slapped on and rushed to the dyno. I’m super excited for this series and I can’t wait for the next video.

Very nice setup but the downfall is going to be that intercooler. It’s thin and the top half (cold side) is covered by the crash bar n bumper. They iat’s are going to be high after a couple of hits

You’re absolutely right. The intercooler is definitely the weak point. In order to get the ball moving, we needed something to just get started. This one was nothing special, but it has a layout that was ideal. We talked early on about cutting these tanks off and welding them onto a more efficient core from Garrett Motion once there’s time for that.

I'm wondering how bad of boost creep they had with the gate sitting so far away from the manifold. Wouldn't it be ideal to have it run straight off the log and into the gate with no bends or inches of tube?

Why not use the rbc intake manifold off that k20 u had on floor ?

Chose to keep it a little more stock, i like how the front of the Rsx manifold is square, and the throttle body is 90 to the engine. The RBC one kinda points the throttle body back towards the turbo and sticks out a little further when you put the throttle body adapter on it to make it all work
