Looks amazing! im currently in the midst of making my own, i recommend you use display port output on the gpu to the monitor for faster refresh rates and a better gaming experience!

I use hdmi for my 1080p 60hz and display port for 1440p 144hz, I needed layout designs for my wall mounted mc, I might get a different piece of wood and then had the idea of using longer screws for the mobo

Idk if I’m just dumb but couldn’t you have put the graphics card directly into the PCIE slot on the motherboard instead of using the cable thing you used ?
3 жыл бұрын
Of course I could have, but then again, you can put all the components in a simple pc case under the desk, putting the gpu this way is kind of the point of the build haha

Very clean and nice setup. What's your temperature for your CPU and GPU like?
@OmegatechInformatica4 жыл бұрын
Hey bro! A tip to your GPU Change de slot PCI-E The second is 8x De first is 16x
4 жыл бұрын
1. The extender cable can't reach the upper one 2. It doesn't need to because there is no real performance difference (16x is more bandwith but not noticable in practical use)

A few questions : How or with what u glue the aluminum brackets to the plywood? and the mount wall piece to the plywood ? thx
3 жыл бұрын
epoxy for the aluminum, I scratched the metal before glueing it using dremel, small screws and same epoxy i think for the wall mount

how is the PSU stuck in place ? i cant see any brackets , and how did u stick the plexiglass on the wooded pillars?
4 жыл бұрын
there are brackets for psu, on the one side with regular mounting holes and screws, and on the other the bracket goes around the cables, so it slots in from above. Plexiglas is held in with screws, nuts are glued with epoxy in each pillar.

nice! you wouldnt happen to have measurements of all that wood and aluminum would you?
4 жыл бұрын
The wooden board is 60 by 50 cm and 8 mm thick if I remember correctly. The aluminum L bracket is 1 by 5 cm, going around the board which means 2.2 m (+ few cm for edges) of L brackets. As for the holes and wooden/aluminum brackets for components, they have to be custom made for specific parts...

Really clean! Does it kick out a lot of heat while you're playing?
4 жыл бұрын
Nothing special, I would say its even less noticeable since its up on the wall compared to having a mid tower on the floor.

Love it. How much does it cost? Up
4 жыл бұрын
I don't know off the top of my head, but the materials used such as aluminum, plywoord and plexiglass are pretty inexpensive and easy to find.

why didnt u show how you did the power button for the pc?
4 жыл бұрын
I forgot to show lots of details, but power button is very simple, just took the one from the old case and reshaped the plasti that goes on the actual button

there are any wall mount case for sale that you recommend?
4 жыл бұрын
I saw thermaltake makes loads of them in the similar style, can't recommend anything since I didn't try any but P3 and P5 look sweet so I would suggest looking into those.

How did you attach the graphics card ?
4 жыл бұрын
I’ve made custom brackets for each end, on the classic end I’ve measured the holes from the regular case, everything else is custom measured for this specific scenario but is should fit the other gpus that are same lenght.

4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Here you go, i managed to find it: www.ebay.com/itm/Brass-Spacer-Female-Female-Screw-PC-Motherboard-Standoff-Riser-M3-x-4mm-60mm-Hex/302778630820?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 They are female-female so they can be secured from the back of the board.

Can the power button literally be anything?????
4 жыл бұрын
Pretty much any simple button if you add the connector for the mbo pins, this one is just from previous midtower case the pc was in, i took out the power button and just made a new frame for it.
