Yep, I think the right thing to do was to go with a smaller front tire as he mentioned to avoid having to molest the fender flare. I understand trimming the fender lip was a quick fix but a smaller front tire is the correct and better solution. Car looks amazing regardless!!

next time you cut a fender like that, leave the inner wheel well a little longer & and use a wheel well roller to stretch the inner up to the outer. but enjoyed the info and the use of the threaded inserts. that's a grate idea ;) George #4

Gr8 work guy and the widebody kit and the lowering of the car is beefy and sick as hell! The look highlights the true muscle of the Ford Mustang heritage. I think you should paint the kit and put a touch of carbon fiber here and there. Also love the aggressive tire sizes.

I'm sure you can see outside from the inside of the trunk looks good from far but far from good underneath one year in Canada and you'll find the kit on the road still attached to the rivnuts and a rustang down the road

i know people often call it widebody but what most people dont know is that what you are installing is actually called a fender flare(an ectension of the fenders). apose to a widebody witch replaces the whole panel.

Once painted and add a crazy hood to it which I have one in mind that will look so mean especially w that front end, will bring in so much cooler air and release hot, make front grill slightly larger not too much there ......

You have to fill in those back fenders man. You can't leave a gap between you inner and outer fender. Weld it up man. Awesome job with the rivnuts that's the proper way to mount.

Usually an aesthetic for car shows...most sane people will get air suspension when they lower a car so that they have the availability to raise it as not to destroy the body panels while driving lol

It’s not just aesthetics it’s also for better traction especially if you’re using racing wheels. Sitting lower to the ground gives you a higher center mass gravity therefore giving you way better traction. This is why lambos are naturally rlly low. But I agree, I personally don’t like it that much but hey to each their own
