Not criticising your result because it seems to have turned out good in the end. But, can't understand why you used expanding foam to build up the required width to start shaping from (an additive process) which seems to have taken far more time (3 days) than the actual carving (1 day) did, instead of using XPS insulation foam and just carving away (a subtractive process) to get the desired shape. I know you can't change what you've done, but I think other people could save a LOT of time by buying XPS insulation foam instead of using expanding foam. Good work though, and I know from personal experience that the smarter ones among us can learn far more from our mistakes than from our successes, so I'm sure you're better off for the experience through what you learnt. Best if all though is you actually had a go and tried something, which is better than most ever do. Peace.

Thanks for the advice. This foam is the one I recovered most easily. Can you please post me a link of the foam you recommend? I would like to find a faster system. Thank you
