But you did stick a known good cpu in a (potentially) bad and in this case shorted board. I'd rather test the (potentially) bad cpu in a known good cheap motherboard.

the 3900x was yours when you put in the first time ? when you never shower us a 5800? and you said the 5800 was yours?

Technoli I was running Samsung 970 PRO SSD 512GB NVMe in my Hackintosh for years and noticed it boots very slow on every boot and thought it was normal until I Decided to try SABRENT Rocket Q 1TB NVMe, I installed Sonoma and my system boots 200 times faster, So I'm thinking it something with the Samsung NVMe drives and I have 4 that I used over the years. they are still good drives but it's something about booting Mac OS.

Yes there is something wrong with Samsung m.2 980 pro. Something to do with trims ! There are some informations online about that . I switched to wd black sn770 sooo fast

Shorting the bios reset pins does nothing unless you power on at same time.

is always been intel for me, i have tried amd in past, i however never tried a ryzen, so maybe if i tried a ryzen, i might be an amd convert.

I thought you was using tools like a microscope a soldering station and schematics etc etc to fix a motherboard like the other repair channels do on here? It is not very hard to replace a motherboard. Some repair channels fix things so small you cannot even see they are broken without a microscope.

At 17:20 suggestion: use Loctite when installing standoffs into the PC case. Also: A low-profile RX 6600 is mentioned as being available on a Japanese web site. Can't post a direct link; search for "RX6600 Low profile (single slot)". Should be Sonoma-compatible & suitable for certain pre-built HP or Dell "SFF" machines. However, the card is down-clocked so as to not overheat. At 28:03, the bios firmware can be updated to v. 3607 listed on the motherboard's web site.
