4:33 try wD-40 to loosen binders and use All In One Oil on your chains and binders to lube them . Works great through rainy weather too. #TeamBigRigBecca❤❤

Might consider buying some blue plastic tarps. I bought several of them in varying sizes to use on loads that one tarp was just a little short, i could cover the last few feet with those tarps and bungi across the back while securing my main tarp. Also, i had a very similar load with a gap like your load there. I didnt want find corner/edge protection for each stack. I noticed all their dunage, like I saw in your video, so i grabbed 4 of the 2x4s and bridged the gap and secured the two by fours with straps and was able to run the tarps out like a full load. I folded up my blue plastic tarps and used them as by front and rear edge and corner protection. I protected the load and gained 4 more pieces of dunage.

20:06 Tip: if you have a hard time loosing up a bundle rise your winch bar and insert the tip in that oval ring and it’ll hold the hook in place so it won’t rotate on you it’s what I do

Cool video, when you can bring more wooden blocks, that way you could have put half that trash container on the step deck and other half on blocks/ lower deck. Legal load, no overhang off the rear.

I've seen some step deck trailers and drop deck flatbeds with a extra lift rack that mostly used to haul 20' containers; one small container positioned at the front with the rack resting under it, the second container on the rear portion of the trailer. The rack would be suitable for carrying those trash containers.

Normally they would build a bridge for the step deck trailers. I have unloaded those cans many times with a truck. It’s tricky but it can be done.

I always secure my own loads no matter what it is what I'm driving. when something falls off kills someone because it wasn't done correctly you can't say the guy at home depot didn't strap it down right. you do it you triple check it. then if something happens you know it's on you
