@jamesbroughton9900 I mean it’s all relative. You need to be paid at a very high rate per mile to do this because loads like this one advance at very low speeds with all the sharp turns and hills and detours through towns

I absolutely love snow. Probably because here in Manchester, on the west side of the UK, we get very little as we have a temperate climate which is the result of the Gulf Stream which crosses the Atlantic from the Caribbean, we do, however, get lots of rain🤣. However, the hills and mountains do get snow and can be pretty bad, as the roads, especially crossing over moors (ie, Dartmoor), have no footpaths, its straight into trouble if the snow is covering where the edges of the road are, so there are poles stuck into the sides of the road, and that shows the limit of the road, you do not go past these poles. For such a small country, weather wise, the pennines which are hills that stretches from the Scottish border down to the middle of England, (Derbyshire), and its these hills that stops the east side of the UK from being warmer, and the west side doesn't get the snow which comes down from the Nordic countries

my question, why do they route you thru small towns and keep you off at least 4 lane roads
@terwilliger19463 күн бұрын
There are multiply reasons. Over head height clearances, bridge weights that we can cross, width restrictions on other roads. All this plays into how a state routes oversize. Hope that answers your question.
@haloreaper10003 күн бұрын
Let's not forget some states will route you through some bs ways. If you don't catch it in time and call state dot. They tend to say wth and re route you personally out of the spot your not supposed to be in
@b2bp3 күн бұрын
In this area, if you're not on the interstate you're usually on a 2 lane road. The hills are rugged so the roads follow the river valleys which are full of old, small towns where the road zig zags through town. Not a lot of options for different routes.
