It’s amazing (and admirable) the lengths some ASMRtists will go to in newer videos when simple ones like this can give you ultimate tingles. I think sometimes we forget that we all discovered ASMR through organic experiences, such as someone talking or brushing our hair, the scratch of a pencil, the click of a keyboard… when these things are “manufactured” they lose part of their magic and effectiveness, in my opinion. Some of the most intense tingles I’ve ever gotten have been from ordinary, every day sounds and actions. I hope we get back to this style of ASMR as a community

Dear Maria, I want to say thank you for this video. My husband is very choosy, therefore it's quite difficult buying clothes/shoes for him. Especially socks - he finds all of them too tight. So when I was in a shop with him the other day, looking for new socks, and I noticed there a pair of diabetic socks, I said: "hey, let's buy them, they'll be good for you! I saw it in an ASMR video!" Old school ASMR is really the only real ASMR. People like Maria and the other originals still have ASMR, but KZbin is filled with awful fake ASMR videos that have a complete opposite effect of ASMR, on me. They have primarily taken over this amazing genre.

I do love these old demonstration videos ^.^ I'm excited that you've done a few reprisals of some old style videos. Adding them to my ASMR list to listen to :D and I do enjoy these medical ones. Weird interest for me considering my field. Unrelated, but I really love this sweater ^.^ the cowl necks are so cozy and not restricting. My favorite style of sweater Also for those wondering about the wipes, usually these type are not intended to use on surfaces, not skin or wounds. They're not the same as antibacterial wipes and products made for skin. They're made to disinfect non-porous surfaces like in hospital and provider office settings. Also, for certain virus types, the fluid from the wipes usually has to remain on the surface for a certain number of minutes to kill the virus.

I am not diabetic, but I LOVE diabetic socks. I found some at a discount store once and found they kept my feet warm while I slept in the winter. I always have cold hands and feet and these socks really help! Plus, they are super soft and comfy.

Those wipes are meant for the medical field, they are used to clean medical products and examination tables. Generally any item that can get bled on or comes in contact with genitals/bodily fluids. They also can be used in hospitals if you are exposed to blood to kill blood transmitted viruses(like HIV) till you can get to a sink to wash.
