OMG this is almost perfect timing, I just made a 1.20 instance a few days ago and was dreading having to manually configure the pack again, this makes it soo much easier. Thank you so much for the amazing pack and Kiku for the mod, you guys are lifesavers.

okay... i got it working, it wasn't your (friends) mods fault- either world edit or g4mespeed was making it crash no F***ing clue why

the way i solved it was by checking everything was on the right version- g4mespeed was for 1.20.1 (cause it hadn't released 1.20.2 version yet- so what i did was downgrade everything to 1.20.1 @@justinindustries

Can't get this to work. Im playing in 1.19.4, got the mod and all dependencies. Using latest resource packs 2.4.4 but cant seem to get the config button. What am i doing wrong?

Hey, with the way it is configured right now it won't work below 1.20.2. You can try playing around with different versions in the respackopts.json5 file within the resource pack though! I'm about 50% sure that should work 😅

What does detector rail "show powered" mean? I didn't notice any changes from vanilla texture.

I expanded the powered part to the side, allows you to see it even with a minecart on the rail

@@RexxStone still not seeing any difference. When it's powered, the cart wiggles anyway, when it's not, the cart completely covers the rail from the top.

Oh - pretty sure you're taking about activator rails there! The toggle modifies detector rails.

No, sorry :/ Bedrock resource packs are very different compared to Java ones, so porting it over just wouldn't work

Unfortunately, there's nothing written about the presets in the respackopts documentation, so I don't even fully know how they work :/ You can however download two copies of Redstone Tweaks, maybe rename them, adjust the settings for creative/survival and switch between the packs. Hope this helps :D

Nope :P Redstone Tweaks covers significantly more redstone related textures than Vanilla Tweaks and has its own textures and models for most of what Vanilla Tweaks has to offer. Some few textures are the same (like redstone ore) but Vanilla Tweaks specifically allows the use of their textures in other packs as long as proper credit is given. If you're interested in what exactly is based on other packs, read the "credits.txt" file within the resource pack. Hope this helps! :)

Feature Request: First thing that comes to mind, maybe also show the preview of the changed block on those menu. For example, When you toggle the true/false in the "Bee Nest & Hive" option, show the texture change on the bee nest/hive on the background.

Unfortunately, this isn't really possible with ResPackOpts. Keep in mind that we're not the mod creators, that's JFronny! I know a hacky workaround that could work (basically creating a custom font, similarly to how I've done it with the inventory tooltips), but I don't think that would be worth the effort :/ Thanks for the suggestion though!

It would be technically difficult, especially for bee hives&nests. Those store data in NBT, which on servers is not sent to clients until the block is picked up. (Also that there's no way to change texture based on nbt data in vanilla...)

@kikugies Bee hives & nests actually use blockstates - not sure how you would use that in the respackopts settings though... My idea was to once again use a custom font like for the inventory guides, but this time for the config tooltip. I don't think the font gets loaded until the resource pack is actually selected though, so it might cause issues when you're trying to edit settings with the pack not enabled. Also it wouldn't dynamically change when altering the settings, so you'd have to display all possible textures... Definitely not an optimal solution. :/
