three questions: 1. On the Super Saw preset in the synth lead category, after pressing a key, you can hear the octave below it playing. how to I get rid of that? 2. How do I modify the cutoff while recording? For some reason I can't do that. How Do I edit the Filter(see the wave when doing a low pass filter)? 3. For some reason Band lab won't let me see the audio/MIDI as it records. How do I fix that?

whenever i map anything in the drum kit it makes it so when i use the drums after i record it sounds like each time i hit the drum once i actually hit it 3 times and its really frusturating because i pretty much cant use my midi pad to make beats

Kind of bummed to discover that assigning control change buttons to pads doesn't work. I think it has to be something that generates a key event; not sure. However, you can assign a control to a key. If you really want to annoy a collaborator, you can set up a mapping that mutes or unmutes his track every time he plays middle C or whatever... ;->

No, BandLab doesn't have a sampler at the moment. You can bring sounds in directly on the audio tracks.
