I replaced the knobbies with smooth riding rear tires from Schwinn OCC chopper bikes, get an extra 2 miles range and almost 30 mph!

I just finished my first ride I haven't been on a bike in over 30 years , what a kick in the as_ ! I had my son next to me for awhile but he took off on his and left me in the dust. Once I got use to riding a bike again (balance) some what I too put it in paddle assist 1 what a joy to ride.

it was easy color for color red and black, soldered and used heat shrink , and butyl tape to water proof. The new light was rated for the same voltage as the old light.

Hi, I ask you for advice, I changed the parameters from the display, let it automatically return to the HOME screen, then I turned off the display and removed the key from the battery. If I turn it back on after a few minutes it keeps the saved parameters for me, on the other hand, if I let more time pass, the default parameters return to me. Am I wrong something? Do you think the display or the control unit is faulty?The km / mile, on the other hand, always keeps me saved. Thanks

No but the cables are at the limit now, so the adjustable stem is all the way down. lucky that it is the perfect height for me. Thanks for the comment :)

Interesting what you have done with your LectricXP. Mine is still stock, will had sideview mirror for sure, and then some kind of baby/child carrier to the rear rack. Thanks for the video.

@@josephsaeteurn9158 Adding a child carrier, if done correctly and safely, should be no different then doing so on a regular bike. One caution might be, to keep the speed down. There maybe a tendency to ride with wide open throttle, which might be dangerous!

There's quick release pedals, and a clip for them that attached flat on rear tire. Makes folding and storage easy.

How difficult was it to re-wire the new light?

Well the light is not bad but you do have to cut off the wire from the old light and solder it to the new one. Red goes to red and black to black. Heat shrink it and make it water tight. If you are handy it should be easy.

I had read about another guy who changed the front light and ran it through the battery and his bike's charge performance fell drastically. I'd prefer to run it through the battery but am concerned about that happening to me. Did you notice any change in performance after swapping out the light? Any chance you can do a video on how you connected that particular light(yes, it's quite bright) to the electrical system? Thanks so much..

I have not, I replaced the light to the stock wiring and since the ket is turned off during charging it should not effect charging.

@@mylifepoetic Nice make sure to tighten it up and air it up before the first ride. If you are not good with tools take it to a bike shop. and put slime in the tires so you get less flats. Have fun with it.

I would like to find some 3rd party fenders that are not so clunky. I don’t know why they wouldn’t go with plastic which weighs less, doesn’t rust, and don’t require those ugly support bars that add even more weight, and are a real buzz kill on such a nicely designed bike.
