Simply the best review I've seen! I'm retired and in the market for a 'leccy bike' and your review answers all the questions I've had and clarifies how useful the functions would be to me. Unfortunately I'm in the UK and the Lectric XP hasn't come up in my searches for UK avaiability. Almost bought a MateX (way too heavy) and a Sonders X (extortionate tax & shipping !!) but here in the UK the Lectric XP has some pretty similar designed bikes and as a retired engineer I WILL need to tinker! The only addition I would like are front and back suspension. But other than that, I now know exactly what the functionality I want looks like, so thanks for a great and enjoyable (?) review.

That is a sweet little bike and honestly the best review of one that I've seen. That is also the cheapest price I've seen for that particular style of bike as well so hat's off to you on getting it that cheap! I've seen them from $1500 all the way up to $2000 for basically the same bike!

Impressive. Had my first electrical scooter 11 years ago for $200+. Top Speed 15 mph. Range "4" miles. Great commuter when gas prices were over $4.00 a gallon. Glad to see better battery life. Can't wait to see 100 miles range someday.

Bike helmet time. My son sustained a closed head injury while riding on of our E bikes but an accident can happen on anything you ride. His fall happened about 3 months ago he he still has severe headaches and some dizziness. BTW he is one of our adult sons at age 45 and someone backed out of their driveway he was doing about 15 mph when he went up and over the handlebars. The driver was at fault but that’s no consultation when possibly you might have headaches the rest of your life. He had his bikes lights on that are very bright but the driver didn’t even bother to look according to her before she backed out. BTW fantastic review one of if not the best that my family has seen. My wife and I now considering this E Bike to carry along with our motor home it’s much better than our other one was. Thank You

I have seen a number of videos on this bike. I even knew your channel exist, based on the review of certain pistol I wanted in the past. Sir you are like consumer reports. No one on the market reviewing this bike came even came close to whats relevent for a consumer. Bro if you can please do more reviews on everything. I'd stick around to know what fabric softener you use. It's truly amazing. Notity bell is on. You didn't have to ask, its imperative. More, everything. Links to buy with your code, please. That's totally cool! I do UberEats (sometimes multi-apping with Doordash and Caviar) in my city as well but on a regular bike with rack and mounted storage container to put the food in. Those damn slanted hills are killer sometimes. I make good money but I bet with this Lectric bike, I can do more deliveries and make much more money! (March 2021) The folding Lectric XP Fat Tire is one of the best e-bike values out there. Good performance and range for excursion biking, good on dirt, sand and pavement, nice cargo bike, not lightweight but easily transportable, solid and well-built.... and still $900.00.

good review. nice thing with 20” wheels is the torque the motor can deliver to the road surface...good for hill climbing. Same motor in a 26” wheel gives you more top end, but poorer assist on hills. For 1000 bucks, it is a good deal. Regen is not possible with gear motors like this, because they freewheel. motor does not turn when coasting. gearless hub motors can utilize regen easily via the controller. But gearless is heavier....but more reliable, as their are no plastic gears to wear out.....its a trade-off. cheers!

I saw a guy on a Specialized E bike I think those are in the 3500 dollar range he said "ya get what ya pay for" I think that is BS this bike looks much better and the Specialized had plastic all over it including fenders. I think I need to of these to go with my Revel and a trailer for the dog. Good Job man.

As a cyclist who has commuted or toured over 30 countries on a discarded long distance 40-year-old road bike or longboard more recently these past 2 years, this was very helpful and your review efficient and relevant. Thanks for the frank review. Having watched all of your electric longboard videos with curiosity but a lesser intention to buy as I’m a (LDP) long-distance-push/pump rider, the electric skateboard that most interests me is the V2 Bustin/Dualomo electric board which has hardly been reviewed, certainly not with your thoroughness. I probably won’t buy it because I love the exercise of 15-50 miles most days a week on a cycle or usually longboard. Just want to see it reviewed by you with your genuine style.

I could see this fastened to the back of motor homes and travel trailers to replace motorcycles or small towed vehicles which would serve the same purpose and function as a more adroit way to get around KOA grounds and the some of the tourist attractions that people travel to see. 35 mph all throttle is when the fun starts on ebikes. Great video, more ebike videos please. I have 2, mid drive and hub, but i would want you and your viewers to experience ebikes more 😁 i like eboards, i have one and have tried at least 2 more but ebikes takes the cake for me, pure comfort and the places and terrains i can go to without worrying about range too much is a plus. Eboards kills my knees as well, no matter what age group you're in, 10-15miles is the limit i think for eboards otherwise your knees will feel sore the next day.

Impressive! Foldable, geared, electronic assist, seems to have it all. Answered couple of questions as I watched, doesn't have recharge for downhill, but I know that is additional cost, not easy as it sounds. Other was swapping out batteries...and only disagreement is aesthetics of rack , You could haul multiple battery packs..extend distance..plus etc. Well thought out design from what I see. Excellent presentation too, well explained.

A thousand bucks for that little bike is an excellent value for someone in the market. Most pedal-assist, electric bikes produced by the bigger name brands (Fezzari, Trek, Cannondale, etc) start at closer to $3,000 and can quickly cost up to $7,000. Of course, that kind of money generally gets you higher end components and more versatility, including some fairly serious off-road capability. Electric bike technology is comparatively new technology and, in my view, divides the bicycle world into two large groups; Standard bikes (no power) designed for greatest versatility and physical exercise and powered bikes designed to make riding much easier at higher speeds over longer distance. Today's options are limited only by the size of your bank account.

@@BRM101 What are you talking about? It would literally be the same thing as most electric cars have. For example when you slow down and apply brake it will break using the engine as an alternator. Same while going down a hill. Just look into how the electric cars do it if you're confused.

I've been wanting to get myself a motorcycle but currently cant afford it. This however seems like a good compromise. Actually, I really like it. You dont need insurance. You dont need a license. Long distance riding is a pain though. Maybe if I can carry a spare battery that I can swap out when one runs out in order to keep going, it could work. I would use this to reduce strain on my car, as it already has a lot of miles.

Rad Power bikes do have regenerative braking, but the manufacturer says you'd have to pedal all day just to fully charge the battery.

I ordered one of these a couple days ago. I'm a road cyclist and am used to 25mm tires at 100psi at 20mph with a hard seat and no suspension. Comparatively, I'm sure this is going to feel like riding on glass. 👍🚴

Fat tires are the way to go! I have a similar folding fat tire ebike and I still didn't get a flat on the stock tires after putting 495 miles on the ebike,I mainly use mine for commuting everywhere. I came from a standard 26 inch bike and the difference is night and day without having to deal with flats every month now.

That's exactly why I bought two! .....and I'm not at ALL disappointed :) Just came back from a short RV trip and rode it all over the park and back up in the woods on trails and logging roads. It was a hoot!....and worked just fine :) As soon as I get some much needed new tires for the RV, I'm heading over to E. Oregon for some desert riding! :) LOVE this bike! :)

Will fat tires handle cobblestone / rough small town sideroads comfortably ? I'm 79 and just about to give up walking city streets -- too painful -- one knee is arthritic. Slow riding amongst pedestrians strolling about on wide sidewalks , possible without losing balance ? Some folks gave up non-electric bicycles in Mexican seasonal environment videos, because of rough roads. How about a trial on cobblestones ? Thanx for the video. Steve Mitchell , hi, I’m 72 and I have an XP. It’s a great bike. Mine came with a ridged seat post but I replaced the seat with a Brooks sprung saddle. The bike has lots of getup and go so be careful but you can ride it any where.

Let me tell you about buying an Lectric bike. I bought the White XP fantastic bike and unbelievable price. Last Sat I was riding my Lectric bike and the left peddle felt funny like it was wobbly when I got home the peddle fell off because it was stripped out. I only had 52 miles on the bike. I thought here we go now I have to maybe fight with the Lectric bike company to get them to fix my bike and stand behind there product. I emailed them on Saturday with pictures of the stripped peddle and crank arm and ob Sunday (the next day) they sent me an email telling me they were sending me another crank arm and peddle and take the bike to a bicycle shop of my choice and they would pay for it. I'm not getting anything out of telling you about this, but I wanted to tell you about there Lectric's fantastic customer service . The people at Lectric e bikes in Phoenix are fantastic ,they have a fantastic e bike and they stand behind there product. As a matter of fact ,I'm going to buy a step thru bike now.

We have two and the revel RV and love them. We put them in upright position vs on its side. It's off by a couple inches to be able to bring the bed all the way down. Love your video's and watch all the time. Thank you

Cool, thanks for sharing it with us. My guess was about $2500.00 1000 bucks is pretty reasonable cost. I like it!!! I had a folding bike Something like that when I was a kid, however it wasn’t electric or fat tire’d.

It has an lg battery 800-1000 cycle No that is not a brake light. It turns on and off with a button

Thank you for the review of the Lectric bike. I feel after watching this video, I can just get on this bike and know what is what with all the functions. I ordered mine last week . It’s due here in a couple days. 🤓
