Awesome stuff! I use a similar process with a lot of my custom Joes, mixing and matching uniform parts and gear from various sources and manufacturers. Cool video, thanks for sharing!👍

I'm very familiar with all those lines as I had many of them, the ultimate soldier, formative, in time products and sunny smiles strike force, so many cool items from back in the 90s, took me back.

Fantastic video. Many folks overlook some these cheaper line uniforms and don’t see their kitbashing potential. I pick these things up all the time in bins at conventions.

We loved this, more personal, video. We also use a lot of what you touched on. We love your customs! We are fans of your company but, being a father of four, I do not shop as much as I'd like (low Joe budget} but please never stop, you have a great product line. Great job! p.s. also a sucker for tiger stripe.

That last one is a Strike Force costume. They had a lot of goofy British type camo patterns, and I remember them being the bargain version of 90's Action Man at Target. Their bodies actually improved with time as well, but they were a charming line indeed.

21st Century Toys also had a Vietnam-Era 9th Infantry sniper that had a more orangey tiger stripe uniform.

Good video. I'd have to agree about Formative/SotW - in their early days suggesting someone use their parts was almost insulting, but as time went on they kept getting better and better so that it was almost like looking at stuff from the "pink aisle" and wondering if the useful parts would justify the cost of the set until, eventually, they quality was to the point that I'd buy a set and have no doubt I could trade off the bits I wasn't going to use myself. I truly wish 21stC hadn't gone under, they're what got me into the hobby.

Hi there I recently started collecting the older elite brigade outfits but there is very little info out there on what the sets should include. Are there episodes dedicated to the early stuff you did? Kind regards Bert

Real world camouflage measure from Vera Cruz, Mexico, 1914, was US Navy sailors dying their whites with coffee grounds in their ships' laundries.
