Awesome edition Guy's! The civilian side of the line looks really cool, and some of the sets could be really nice additions to the Adventure Team line for the outfits and gear. I see Greg has a good selection of some items at Cotswold and I grab what I can when I can. The donkey is really cool, I happen to pick one up from a fellow collector at a group show. I thought it to be a Dragon donkey, but as I look at the one Chuck has on the table I can see they are Identical! Very cool indeed!! Question for you two, will M&C make the horses again as well as the donkey??

I remember seeing and then purchasing my first Sports Adventure figures at Marsh Supermarket before Christmas one year. They had four different figures, the grey skier, the boogy bosrd surfer, the diver & the fisherman. I have the three horses you have in the table. The name of the military horse set was "In Pursuit." I have two of the Donkeys/Mules. I'm not sure where I got one, but the one I remember was a boxed set and called "Trailerwalker."
@vincentchiriaco763712 күн бұрын
I remember seeing the same wave of Sportsman at a local grocery store as well called "Foodworld." What state was Marsh Supermarket in? Do you have any other Power Team mounts besides the ones mentioned?
@andrewgarrison348512 күн бұрын
@vincentchiriaco7637 Marsh was Indiana based but had some stores in Ohio as well. I got mine in Indiana. Those are the only Power Team horses I have. The two brown ones I know were from the In Pursuit sets. My white horse I picked up separately from another collector some years ago. It had a saddle, but nothing else.

I remember seeing the tag team sets (police and fire) somewhere in the US, so it probably was Big Lots. Does anyone remember if the male counterparts had the "muscle" bodies? I think that's what detered me from purchase, because I was interested in the female figures, but already had a slew of the male ones. Had I found them on sale, I would have probably picked them up, but I don't think they were around long enough to get marked down. Also, does anyone have a favorite discussion spot they like to go to for Power Team Elite 1/6 scale action figures?

It is a licensed Geyperman made by M&C toys for the Spain market in the mid 2000's. His tattoo is like a claw mark. M&C had the tattoo on the arm, and Bizak's Geyperman counterpart had a tattoo on his chest. Both interested lines!

Did anybody other than Chuck ever see the African American female figure at Big Lots, KB Toys, Small Blue Planet or elsewhere? I thought I owned all the Tag Team sets but have never seen the AA figure or the Hispanic one Chuck mentioned either. It is too bad M&C seems to have always had a haphazard, bizarre distribution network. I like the figures because they are not as scrawny as the GI Jane figure bodies. If M&C advertised, updated their Facebook Fanpage or anything, they would have far better recognition of products, sales numbers and Greg might have trouble keeping the female figures in stock, even though female figures are poor sales performers in general.
@vincentchiriaco7637Ай бұрын
I think M&C doesn’t dive too hard into any particular desire of any region/country. I think they just make stuff they think might sell when it’s convenient for them and hope for the best. If you own an organization, you can certainly reach out to them and they will make an exclusive figure catered to your needs though. It’ll be large batch though. 😂

Can you guys help me? I'm looking for information on the 12-in toy line k9 Corps. They're insanely obscure ironically I have most of the line in box and paid next to nothing. And I have the rarest figure from the line but not in box LOL rare one was supposed to be a werewolf or some crap like that I forget the story behind it but it's insanely rare and again I didn't pay much for it you see it on eBay now and then for 2 and 300 bucks and I got it from an eBay seller for like 20 or 30 bucks LOL originally made the guy an offer and he told me off about 2 years later he sent me a message asking what I take it off his hands LOL. Basically it was either take it or he was going to throw it out because of how much it was costing him each month in listing fees just to keep it up on eBay and nobody was touching. I was the only person that it even made an offer on it over the span like two or three years. Pretty much nobody collects k9 Corps whenever they turn up loose on eBay people want dumb prices and they just don't sell. The bizarre thing is they look like a direct copy of the art style of an artist that I used to know several of the figures look like direct copies of his artwork and he basically wouldn't even respond when I showed him a picture of one of the figures he got really grumpy and wouldn't answer LOL. Near as I am aware only a limited number of them basically made it on trucks and in the stores before the whole company went into a sinkhole and disappeared. Originally I found one at a local hardware store that didn't even sell toys it basically just showed up at the hardware store and they didn't know what to do with it LOL. It was in a shipment of stuff that they got and nobody knew how it got there and at that point to add insult to injury it was several years old so they put it out front for 10 bucks and that was how I found out about the line. I got several on eBay where this guy put them up at opening bid of 99 cents each and nobody else but me bid on them LOL. Guy was not a happy camper.I never seen them in stores here other than the one I found at the hardware store never seen them at thrift stores flea markets and there's almost nothing about them in KZbin videos that I've come across.Where was a promotional video on KZbin and that's it as far as I know. I don't think they even got as far as the pilot being picked up by a television network where there was plans for a television series

Made by Lanard. There are still kicking around. They have an old youtube channel where they showcase their warehouse sales. Saw them in canada. Really bizzare line. They were probably hoping for a turtles type success.
@peterparker6584Ай бұрын
@@sitoudien9816 You are the first person I've ever had even respond to anything where I've brought these up. It's practically impossible for me to find any information at all. I've never been sure if they were marketed in Canada or the US or how many were made it's like the toy doesn't exist is almost the feeling you get. Like one shipment got out of the warehouse and then they got sent overseas. The one that was supposed to be a werewolf the supply of it was sent to a toy manufacturer overseas where it was repainted and sold in a different toy line altogether that much I do know somebody had one up on eBay two or three times but I forget the name that it was marketed under foreign where it was a repaint of the werewolf. And a different box and so on. The foreign version with a different toy line was white with I think black stripes or something like that. It's so bizarre that I never seen them in stores in Nova Scotia the one that I got was years after the toy line had been released nobody can explain how the hell it ended up in the stock that got unloaded at the hardware store LOL. It was one of these it's in the back room where did it come from? Well we got a shipment the other day kind of situations. They technically carry toys there at certain times of the year but normally what they carry is they'll have a few plastic John Deere tractors or diecast John Deere tractors and a few diecast Home Hardware trucks that kind of thing and that's at Christmas time. They don't carry things like typical children's toys.Is there any KZbin videos about this toy line any kind of discussions documentaries anything? Where were they sold anything like that I've never been able to find any information at all I know somebody at one point posted the video from the disc that comes with the figures but that's it I've never seen anything else on KZbin ever
@peterparker6584Ай бұрын
I didn't know they were called power team. Been randomly ending up with figures from what's clearly this line for about 20 years from thrift stores. Couple of people I deal with shop at thrift stores and I keep ending up with boxes of 12-in dolls. They basically grab where you'll get three or four dolls in a box lot and they grab the whole lot because there's one that they want and the rest are garbage. As an example I know a guy that's got in the crap load of 1960s GI Joe action Team figures and 1970s Star Wars Bionic Man and so on that were mixed in with things like Max Steel or these Power Team figures and I end up with what they call Yard Sale figures because they're not vintage. I've never come across any of the female figures. And here's something that's going to really make your hair stand up one of what you're saying are Power Team figures the head sculpt looks like me and my twenties found one at a yard sale and one of the thrift store and you don't know how bizarrett was to look at a figure and be asking yourself why am I holding an action figure that the head sculpt looks disturbingly like me when I was little younger;). Didn't know what brand they were from but they're clearly this line given I recognize a lot of the accessories. I've got one right now sitting on my desk that has black hair with a black beard wearing a karate outfit that I hung on to because it stands out normally I sell them other than the ones that look like me LOL I did technically a couple of custom figures with the two that look like me;) . Like I said never seen any of the female ones or I would have hung on to them. Once in a while I find 12-in action figures that I keep but majority of them I sell. I got lucky and I have a battle command Duke from Hall of Fame as an example not sure if I've got the talking Indiana Jones from the 1990s or not I forget if I got that yet
