CUSTOMIZING OUR SCANIA | Euro Truck Simulator 2

Time to start customizing our Scania. I will be adding strobes in the next episode
ABOUT ETS 2: SPECIAL TRANSPORT
Only the most skilled and experienced truck drivers are called to perform Special Transport jobs. The new DLC will challenge the players and let them experience super-sized cargoes with length and width exceeding standard cargo regulations. Driving through tight passages requires millimeter-precision maneuvering!
The routes will be secured by two escort vehicles guiding the driver through the transport job from its start to the place of delivery. The player has to obey the escort vehicles' advice and carefully watch for every inch of the road to deliver the cargo in pristine condition.

Daggerwin you can go into gameplay options and selected it so you don’t have to always stop and choose where to park the trailer,it automatically chooses skilled parking for you

You can of course have a rough estimate about distance just look at your trip meter, it was around 10 when you picked up the cargo and you had 400ish to go.

Couple of advices: a good speed for going through autopass at tollbooths is 30 kph without having to stop. To change the zoom level on the satnav there is a specific key, check it out in the keyboard menu. If you cycle through the different dashboard screens, you'll be able to check speed and cruise control speed, as well as fuel consumption and mileage left with the fuel you have (again check the keyboard menu to see which button it is). For this truck in particular, the better cab interior you'll have, the more "advanced" the dashboard will be, with a digital speedometer as well. And if you look backward inside the cab, you'll see that that backpanel sheds some light; it's more visible at night because of the darkness outside. Also, the better engine for this truck is a V8 with 730 bhp. Nice video as always :)

I'm sure there is a mod out there which will reduce the route advisor to just a bar on the bottom of your screen. so you can use the satnav on your windscreen but still have all your information like speed and how far you have left. I use it on ATS so I'm sure you could find it on ETS2 its called minimal advisor interface

If you are using the truck in Europe most of the time the toll booths are on the left, Macdonalds is on the left, traffic is passing you on the left so it is a good idea to steer from the left.

There is a mod that makes the information, speed, distance left etc. show up as a line at the bottom, and removes the sat nav from it.

Daggerwin if you read your ingame mail, about special transport. It will tell you the names of the cities with special transport jobs. They are not in every city

I know its a game but your number plate says "WIN" but the character 'I' (along with other letters) is not on license plates within the UK (except in northern ireland) because they look the same as the "1" character on on the license plate and could cause confusion, especially with number plates with a personalised layout. e.g KI11 will look like K111 which K111 could be a personalised plate. Basically 'I' and other letters are not used to avoid confusion between Numbers and digits that look the same.
