Hard to compare builders. What Chad does in a small garage with basic tools is amazing. Can’t compare to a multi million operation like Kindig. Chad gives all of us hacks hope that we can make something that we can be proud of. I also like Ian Rossel for the same reason

I fully agree with your outstanding comment. The late, great , John Buttera had a similar situation in his home shop….An iconic and talented machinist/welder/racer with unworldly credentials, he cranked out everything from concourse level corvette restorations , prototyping for Harley, his custom aluminum CNC Harley drive belt systems, race car chassis, et al, all from the comfort of his home shop. It’s a great testament that we can all build our own dream car within the confines of our skills, space and budgets if we are resourceful, persistent and humble.

There is no comparison, if its built by Kindig or Rousell you can guarantee that it will be roadworthy and functional, if it1s built by Chad its more yard art.

Keep putting the hour's you can and make a list of what needs to be done so you can cross out or put an × what got done. It could even help by checking (the round about cost) and write it by what needs to be done. When I was doing other people's vehicles they let me keep the left over materials they were not going to use help me with some of the cost on my vehicle. The materials for body work got pricy from when I started in the late 80s. It might be the area I live. Chad, You can get a carb adaptor for a Edelbrock intake to a Rochester carb from almost any auto parts supply for pretty cheap. If you get a used edelbrock carb, it may need to be rebuilt and the your rochester carb runs well. no need to change throttle cable fittings, vacuum lines or anything else. Simply place the adaptor on with four screws, and bolt on your carb and your done.

Why not make your work easy by doing the easy work to get it done. No need to complicate things. I dont really watch those other guys and really dont care to.
