How about a segment on the new Ram 1500s? The 18" stock wheels barely fit over the ~15" brake rotors, so 17s are a no go right away, and only some 18s can work. Some have found success by going with an 18 that has a more aggressive offset like -12 (stock is +19). For those not looking to move up to 20s, it would be nice to see some examples of 18s that could work, whether that be 18s with negative offset or 18s close to a stock offset with less material in the backspace area.

I almost bought a 2019 LTZ that was lifted 6" on 20" wheels and toyo tires this weekend. I didn't get it because it wasn't fully loaded no sunroof, wireless charging or bedliner. If anyone is interested, I have a 2020 chevy 1500 rst with 6 inch pro comp lift and dirt logic coil over shocks. It handles Toyo mt 37x12.50-22 with no problems and no trimming. It rides exactly like stock, very soft and smooth and no rubbing. If you want a pictures pm me with where you want me to send it to or if you live close to middle Georgia I will be glad to take you for a ride so you can see how good the ride is.

I bought the last V8 Silverado on the lot back in 2015. The truck had P255 / 70 R17 S . I figured I was going to buy at least 265' s when I got new tires. The guy at the dealership said you can not put bigger tires than rated anymore because of the electronics and new transmissions. Costcos said they would not install tires larger than on the door sticker which is P255' s. Obviously you guys do. Any advise ? I think it is bullshit. My warranty is about done anyway.

Just bought a new silverado 2019 Lt in north sky blue. I really like the look of the Methods Nv 305 in bronze as I think it will compliment the dark blue well. Sizes available are 17x8.5, 18x9, and 20x9. So im assuming the last two will work by clearing the calipers right? If does it not anyone know of any wheels similar that will work preferably that mate bronze color?

Anyone know how the wheel stud length compares to older trucks? I tried 1/2” rough country spacers on my truck and I couldn’t get my lug nuts to seat properly. Only got 3 turns out of them. Wondering if anyone knows how much that 1/8” of a 3/8” spacer would change that?

This might be a stupid question (new to trucks and builds in general), but do you need a Z71 off road package or high end model to build a nice truck? I have a Custom that I use for work, pleasure, and light trailing. I'd like to lift it a little and put some bigger wheels, off road bumper (already tore part of the plastic valence thing off on a tree stump I didn't see), maybe some armour, and that's pretty much it for now. Or would it be better to save my money and trade it in for a more off roady truck with at least the Z71 package and then add those things on there?

I've had a 4" lift installed, then put 22"x12" American Force Trax SS polished wheels, with 35"x12" Nitty Ridge Grapplers. My truck looks fantastic! My question is, will stock rear fender well covers fit? Do you think leaving them off might be just as good? I've yet to see a truck with them on.

Wheel width doesn't matter either ffs. An 8 wide and a 10 wide with 0 offset will both have the same stance. Offset is the only thing that matters
