Guy came the other day from the company we have a contract with, did an inspection of the system, checked everything over and changed the filter. Now it's not throwing cool air like it was prior to that, and the top of the unit has water running down from where the A-coil is. The filter looks no better than the ones we use, but I swaped it out anyway with one I buy. And now I guess I'll check the drain line. Very unhappy camper here.

I have water on my floor I had to air condition people out here at the end of last summer they told me I need to replace the air. The beginning of the summer I care called another air condition man and didn't tell him any thing other than there was water on the floor. He resolved the issue thank God no more problem. Make money it's probably lose in some type of antifreeze but they don't call it antifreeze anymore they have a new name for it get a few estimates and don't tell them what the other person said . Those first two guys last summer said I need to replace the air condition unit. Get three estimates three different opinions see what they come up with.

I have the issue one day just discuss I'm getting a lot of cool are in the main four but nothing on the upstairs are the bedrooms are I don't feel anything coming out of the vents just barely. My upstairs is hot

My central air blows very cold air in the morning, late evenings & nights. Yet, a couple of hrs past noon ..... A/C air becomes cool with a slightly warm flow until outside temps drop for that evening. This 4 ton unit has a new compressor, a new motor, a new capacitor, a new connector, freon & fairly new 1 ½ month filter. Also the unit coils were rinsed off several times but no improvement. What could be the problem please? Thank you so much. P.S. Back to back summer repairs are expensive headaches! I should have gotten a new unit had I been able to afforded it! 😫 #2019-2020 Repairs

The short answer is that it is really difficult to diagnose a problem without being there, but at the very least we can tell you that it does sound like a performance issue with your air conditioner. It does not sound like it is undersized. The fact that the air changes temperature in the middle of the day indicates it is performance, not size that is the problem. Without being there to run tests on your particular unit it is hard to narrow it down more than that.

Im having the same problem brand new unit brand new compressor insulation is great unit was replaced with same size unit however no luck. Two different companies have came out & cant fix the issue

I'm having same issue, at night, early morning and late evening it works good, but during the day its not keeping up with set 75 on thermostat, it all started with clogged line, I un clogged it, then the fan stopped working, found out it was capacitor- replaced it, now its only cooling when its cooler outside and during the day it runs non stop. Did any of you found out your issues?
