Hi mate maybe get yourself a leister or a copy one and weld the holes/cracks ect. Doubles as a robust heatgun as well. Fill the hole/crack after v-ing out grind it back ,poke it with a sander, invisible repair

Question: why didn’t u use a softener in your clear coat. In Poland they put around 5-10% of a special softener into the clear coat which prevents from cracking. The clear coat stays more flexible than without. Or did you use a special clear coat for flexible car parts like bumpers etc ? I remember the softener being a really viscous fluid. Best regards

Hello. This clear doesn’t need a flex additive as it’s already very flexible. Most clears are. If you paint too many coats of clear yes it will crack. 2 or 3 coats stay very flexible. 👍

It’s not a bumper bar……it’s a bumper cover…. The bumper bar is the bar that is under the bumper cover and gives the front end it’s strength and protection

Oh. Here in Australia if I search bumper bar in google. I only get bumper bar images and items for sale like what I was holding. What you call a bumper bar we call a bumper reinforcement panel or for the rear a beaver panel.

Original bumper was fine... Except if it was aftermarket bumper and you just bought another aftermarket bumper. I wouldn't throw away an expensive original bumper because of a few paint defects. This probably happened because the bumper was repainted. Too many layers of paint...
