The pictures don't change to the beat though... is it because the beat detection was set to 2 seconds, which is somewhere around the 3rd beat?

That certainly could be. Beat Detect isn't flawless.

Hi sir! 1'st love all the good info on this channel - thanks for taking the time to do this!! I have a couple of questions for you. Clearly you have been using all versions of Elements through the years. I have been using Premiere Elements 15 since it came out and I do like it. Do you think I should upgrade to the newest version - on a scale of 1-10. 1 = it's a little better, 5 = its a fair amount better and 10 = Yes, T4L, you are an idiot of you don't upgrade immediately! I look forward to your thoughts!! Thank you, T4L

Version 2023 removes a number of features and effects. Personally, I think it's a disappointing upgrade. If you're happy with version 15, I'd say there's no reason to upgrade. Unless there are no features you want in newer versions of the program of course.

Hey I watched one of your videos a couple of times cause it was really useful but its tagged as youtube kids, and because of that I can't save the video to a playlist about video editing, just wanted to let you know cause in no way its a youtube kids video. video: "Adding transitions to several events at once in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum."

I don't know why it's listed as a kids video, gabriel. I certainly didn't set it up that way.
