Hi Brian, I’m really enjoying your videos and your craftsmanship. After I saw this video I start to thinking of shortening my work boots. I would like to cut them right under the Dunlop sign where the double stitch is. I can’t upload the picture of them though. They are Dunlop Nevada safety boots. I am a bit concern about the structural integrity of a whole boot after cutting and also the comfort of wearing them. Maybe you can give me some advice. Keep the good work and thank you for any answer. Stepan

I think they look alright with half soles and a heel, but I have no problem with the factory crepe soles.. Super comfortable. I guess you don't pay much attention to it when you wear them for work.

Oh man, I just bought some 877s because of the height and now you're giving me second thoughts, Brian! Would love to see a moc toe cut down to maybe a chukka style? Or the 877 cut down like this boot but keeping the pull tab at the back. Also that T-shirt in white with kelly green print like your old style would look great and you'd get my money instantly! Great job as always!

Fantastic customization... And by watching closely I picked up a couple tricks of the trade; 2 sided tape for accurate label placement, moving boot on sewing machine for tough corners to sew, melting thread with a lighter. I dont know if that was intentional, but thank you for the knowledge! Hope you had a Happy 4th! #BlessUp P.S. Lemme get 2 shirts (XL) please... Thank you!
