Yeah in the sega saturn version of Megaman 8 there are two bonus rounds where you fight a rogue Cutman and Woodman. It has nothing to do with the plot, it is just sort of thrown in.

@@Phoenixesper1 I kinda wished it explained that cutman was doing his job working alongside woodman until Wily threw the evil energy at them. It would have been better than being a mini hidden boss.

@@orientallegendcomics1316 I think it would have been interesting if cutman and woodman had been off the grid and in the boonies allowing them to escape the evil energy plague and happened to run into megaman, fought him for old times sake, but after the fight sorta joined in the main plot behind the scenes, perhaps giving megaman information about locations or wily secrets regarding his bases, things only a wily bot would know. Would have been fantastic if you could have at least gotten woodmans leaf shield as a weapon in MM8, possibly taking up one of the add on slots giving you a properly functioning shield that doesn't use energy, like the buster shot upgrades roll builds you. Hell I can think of a dozen places in the game leaf shield would have been invaluable, the blizzard sky zone and tengue mans rounds for a few. But we shall never know.

@@Phoenixesper1 a Wily bot? woodman is a wily bot, yes, but cutman was made by light. Though I suppose that wily bots were either robots upgraded or built by doctor wily. Also, why were the robot masters from mega man 1 in the robot museum? they were mega man's brothers! couldn't they be reprogrammed back to their original function like the robots from 9 and 11?
