I think one factor to take into account is that the first edge of the Vanax is not usually what it really has to offer, it is prone to burning, many agree that it improves a lot on the third sharpening. It would be good to do a second test after having removed the factory edge.

Great video and great knife, I love mine! One interesting note is that this knife is not as big as what it looks like in photos and video, the size is perfect!

I think when it comes to the heat treatment of Vanax you will not have a difference, if in geometry and washers instead of ceramic balls. I'm waiting for a kunwu Padre that got lost but I've tried the waytpoint L and I'm delighted.

I have both and truly the Compadre is the better choice. It's not small at all. I would compare it to the PM2 - Para 3. If you prefer the Para 3 (like me) you'd prefer the Compadre.

I have both aswell, u definitely should try them both in hand Bro @Ryan Dye. I know how u are with your sizes and if we talking Spyderco your PM2 Salt I think u said fits your hand well ! Definitely would go OG Padre then.. Smaller girly sized hands like me .. Compadre. 💪🏼💜🔥
