Intermittent fasting was the answer for me. Lost 55 pounds and have kept it off for five years. 👍🏼 My wigs are comfortable if I don’t wear my wig grip. If I wear the grip, I always get a headache.. I always cut the strap out of my wigs. Thanks for that tip. 👍🏼

How did you work out the intermittent fasting, I'm not sure of it? 🙄😊

So many good tips! Love the eyeglasses clips for your mask. I always preferred hooks to velcro on wigs, because my biohair gets caught in velcro, but stitching the band in place honestly makes the most sense. I'm going to start doing that.

I love both of the wigs y'all are wearing! Misty, I love Jett on you & what a difference when you added the Peace Out!! Absolutely stunning!! Thank you for doing the total makeup video, I'm going to use more of the highlight powder like Misty & hope I have the same outcome. Kim I love your eyelashes & am going to try layering more mascara on mine too! Y'all are beautiful inside as well as out which is more important. I love the Milano wig grip/cap combo, have you ever tried that version? The cap is not tight or annoying at all. Wow, Misty, I didn’t like Jett on you at all until you used the piece out Creme. Now it looks so stylish! Oh my gosh, I ordered LipSense from you and had some issues with it. I didn’t get instructions so hopefully you can mail them to me?

I have a 23-inch circumference, and most average-sized wigs are tight on me out of the box, and some of them are sized more like a petite-average so there isn't enough coverage. But my favorite wig is Noriko Cory, which fits like a petite-average out of the box. I got a great tip for making it comfortable quickly. I remove the size adjustment bands, spray the inside of the cap thoroughly with 91% alcohol, and put the wig onto a 23-inch canvas block head. I take it off and re-spray it every few hours. After a day or two, Cory fits comfortably! I wouldn't be able to just "wear it" until it stretched on my head; it gives me a headache. That canvas block head is worth its weight in gold to me.
@flowerchild57014 жыл бұрын
I have a 23 in head also. But new to wigs. Would cutting it like Kim not work ??? What does alcohol do?
@flowerchild57014 жыл бұрын
I feel so left out with wig sizing 😞
@carolhansen46574 жыл бұрын
@@flowerchild5701 I definitely cut out the "bra strap" bands because I will never need to make the wig tighter. But I have tried cutting the elastic "behind" the band before and felt that the wig didn't have enough structure anymore. The alcohol makes the elastic strips holding the wefting together stretch out more quickly than just using water and putting it on the canvas block. As long as the canvas block is no larger than your head, and you don't use T-pins, you can't over-stretch the wig. I have seen people use T-pins to fasten the wig to the block to keep it from contracting back to a smaller size as it dries. I don't think that is necessary. I would rather use an extra day on the block than take a chance of tearing anything.
@MimisWigChicks4 жыл бұрын
We stretch a lot also, but haven't tried the alcohol trick, we just use water. We will have to give that a try! Thank you!!!

I love Jett, and I really wanted her to work. But there wasn't hair in the crown to cover the permatease. I wish Estetica would do a mono side part in Jett.

That is why I make my part piecey and messy with lift in the crown. The lightness of the wig is worth it to me! That would be even better though!

You two are funny to watch which is lovely if you are new to wigs. I was wondering if you could direct me to the best wig for what I’m looking as it’s all a bit of a minefield. I’m looking a bob/above shoulder length wig with low density. Not a fan of major volume. I really like the shaded biscuit colour by Raquel Welch but I think her wigs seem to have lots of hair. Ideally I’d like side parting with a realistic parting and hairline but if that’s not available a fringe is fine. Would you have any recommendations? I really want to get something sorted ASAP. Thank you!

They are lipsticks that stay on up to 18 hours. You do have to use the gloss as well, so it's usually a set. You can put up to 3 coats of the color on and mix and make custom colors. You can even get the color glosses and wear them alone.

GIRLS, I need your help.. I can't afford much on a wig, probably no more than $170 so I've been looking in that area, and I am going crazy with all the wig sites out there.. I have seen the same wig on several different site's and some are up in the hundreds n some way below, and then the same piece having lace front and the other doesn't.. I'm so confused!! I just want a bob that is lace front.. Also, some sites give you a choice of cap sizes and other's do not.. What is up with that anyway?? Hope you can help me out.. Love you gal's!! ❤️🤗❤️
@MimisWigChicks4 жыл бұрын
Our wigs start at $180 and go up from there. If you are wanting a bob with a lace front a couple of cost friendly options that we have are Kristen by Jon Renau ($230) and Arya by Tony of Beverly ($210).
@2lmdi4 жыл бұрын
Someone needs to start up a business producing just ear tab extensions in all the colors of major wig mfgers to just clip on under the wig's ear tab. They could be made with hair just long enough to go behind ear just to cover natural hair. I wear large and with the stretchy wigs today the whole cap is not the problem. The problem is ear to ear especially with lace front. If the ear tabs were just longer I could wear any average wig. I have cut the ear tabs off of old wigs that match closely and sewn on new average sizes but I sure wish there was a short or long ear tab choice... thus the idea for a clip on ear extension.

What Esthetica considers a design enhancement, hooks, no one likes. In all the reviews and comments I read, that is the one common single complaint. Hope they read these posts.
