what kind of fabric is needed for the back of the rug?

I’ve bought your machines and love them but I’m using regular acrylic yarn and the quality isn’t the best. What’s the best type/brand of yarn for cut pile rugs that are gonna be functional rugs

Can someone advise me on what hand tool gives the cut effect? Or do you have to make large loops and then cut the yarn yourself by hand? I can't justify spending hundreds on a tufting gun until I have tried my hand at making at least one rug. Many thanks.
@Throwan_Hands3 жыл бұрын
The best would be rug hooking. You pre cut individual strands and hook each one on. Needle punching and then cutting the loops after would have the same effect.

I always preferred cut yarn instead of loop, maybe that's why I do latch hook instead of punch needle. May I ask what is the name of that white fabric? I don't think I've seen it before!

I'm using monks cloth in this video, but it's not a great choice. It shreds super easy and isn't durable at all. This was shot 4.5 years ago and we've learned so much! We recommend the primary tufting cloth as the first choice

So cool. It looks like you going over the same row twice with the cut pile vs one pass each row with the loop? Do I have that right?
@osamasharaf34076 жыл бұрын
you can make the needle support which as the fork as your guide from the previous tufted line
