I think this could have been done so much better if they invited art enthusiasts or other professionals to guess, who would really appreciate each piece and could give the audience actual meaningful interpretations or insight about the art, rather than just random meaningless first impressions that were a lot of the time, insulting and insensitive. this had a lot of potential but just inviting the right people would have made the video so much more meaningful.

@Mellow_Mood_Beats5 жыл бұрын
That's something very superficial and materialistic , artists don't make art to get somewhere they do It because they need to. It's an outlet of oneself primal for humans just like all our other basic needs.
@vihstadler5 жыл бұрын
@@Mellow_Mood_Beats artists also need to eat and pay the bills, believe it or not they don't feed of love and inspiration. So when they're not able to live of their art, or when all their hard work is not recognized, that can lead to frustration.
@Mellow_Mood_Beats5 жыл бұрын
@@vihstadler that has absolutely nothing to do with my point! I never said art has to be your only form of sustainment, Instead my message was do It for a genuine and visceral need that starts from within and that will make you feel accomplished and like you've produced something beautiful rather than passively watching tv. Also an artist doesn't need to be someone that lives off his creations only,; your postman, the cashier of your local walmart could be an artist for all you know. Open your mind and start understanding that you can live of your art, look at the chef of your favourite restaurant he's an artist in his own way just like your hairdresser could be! moral of the story never stop doing your art, It will always get you somewhere, watching television instead won't. Peace out
@vihstadler5 жыл бұрын
@@Mellow_Mood_Beats your point of view is very idealistic. You say that an artist doesn't need to live off their creation; thing is, we want to. We don't want to have our biggest passion to be a hobby. A lot of people are satisfied with it, but most of us aren't. And when we aren't able to, when we have to put this aside as a hobby and do something we don't enjoy to be able to survive instead, we get discouraged. We get bitter. And eventually, we give up, because making art that won't get recognized as such becomes a source of frustration. So I get your good intentions and I know you're not saying any of this in bad faith. I'm just saying artists are not beings of light who just want to bring beauty to the world or whatever. We also want that, but we're just human beings who want to get a life by doing what we love. And most of the time, we aren't able to.
