Personally I want to interview that person and ask how they managed to trudge through the slow slightly stiff mechanics. Doing all that had to have took days if not weeks. I kinda lost a lot of fire due to how limited, slow and stiff things are. I was unable to spread my legs creativly wide because if I spent 1hr testing an idea, I might equally spend the same hour trying to change things. Plus I have to fight with the stiff island designer as well and the slow process of adding paths and what not.

my tip is to terraform and use forced perspective, only show what you want to be seen in a certain area- terraforming, trees, bushes, and flowers are really useful to help cover areas so you can have even more on your island without it feeling like everything is everywhere :D

Personally I think it's more than okay to become inspired from other people's islands. It gives you the motivation to go back and further improve! The flower cart is a diy and the tires as well! You have to fish some trash (tires) and then you should get the diy for tire stool :) You can then customize them to another color! The vending machines however are probably from another person as everyone has o my one vending machine color scheme and you cannot customize it. Edit: the path is custom but laid over a non custom path, so the grass edge can be achieved!

The problem I have with many 5-star islands is that they can become too crammed and/or messy and end up with barely any movement space aside from the town roads. Not saying this island looks bad though, it looks very good, I'm sure she put a lot of time and effort into it and I respect that, but it's just not my cup of tea. Also Chevre and her version of the island jingle are adorable

Yeah, I love the aesthetic of these islands, but I tend to design mine as more natural with fewer fences and furniture filled areas because I like walking around catching bugs and fish and having space for lots of fruit trees spread out. The nature makes me happy (but I still want cute areas like diners aaaaah)
