Why are there 32 stiches in rnd 4-6, but in rnd 7 there are only 31 (ch, sc, 5sc, 25 sc, slst?)

hello! for Rnd 16 (around 23:20 where the brown is being crocheted), idk if it's just me but i don't think the instructions match what's happening? like reading from the instructions, it looks like there'd be 7 total stitches in brown for that row but it doesn't seem like that in the visual :") Please advice 🙏 -beginner crocheter^^

So sad.. I can't understand what you just did in the ears.... I hope you slow it down, close up and focus the camera while doing it. Slowing down the playspeed makes the image blurry because of your fast stitching.

look at row zero (aka the first 7 chain we did) take the first chain from it insert your hook from the front to back make a loop from the other colour and put it on your hook and pull it thru leave the knot on the back side then move on to the next chain from row zero and make a SC then a DC then a TC and then DC and finally a SC and then move on to the next chain and make a slip knot and cut the yarn repeat the same on the other side and there you go

First she made a knot with a single crochet (sc), in that same place she knitted a double crochet (dc), then a triple crochet (tc) and a double crochet, in the next stitch she made a single crochet and hid the excess yarn. She only used two stitches, one to start and do the doubles and triples and the other to make a single stitch and finish and repeated it for the other ear
